In the distance we could see the gates of the entrance, which were guarded by two soldiers. They wore armor which covered their entire body, so you couldn't see anything but only a small part of their faces. The wall had to at least be 50 feet tall, and on top of the wall, were more guards with bows and arrows standing at attention. We made it to the front of the entrance, and the guards ran in front of us.

"HALT! State your business," said one of the guards.

"Um... I'm a Demonslayer, and I'm here to compete in the Tournament," I answered.

"Do you have the mark of Demonslaying to confirm that?" Asked the other guard. I exposed my bare chest, showing the symbol of Demonslaying that was burned by magic into the right side of my chest. The symbol is of a snake head with a wing right next to it.

"Thank you, you may proceed into the City of Nidas. And you may pass as well miss, you just came here not to long ago. Welcome to the City of Nidas," the first guard said, satisfied with us. We walked through the gates and what I saw was incredible. The City of Nidas was massive, with buildings made out of stone bricks. Some looked rich, some a little more poor than others. A large variety of races roamed through the streets, races like half humans like me, elves, dwarves, humans, and etc. I didn't realize it but my mouth was hung open, which made Alexandra giggle at me.

"Cool, huh?" She asked, letting out another giggle. I shut my mouth and nodded.

"I've never seen anything like this, it's amazing," I said, kinda dazed by the whole thing. I've never seen anything so populated, it kinda just surprised me a little.

"You want to go in the city, now?" Alexandra said, with a small smile on her face. After that said we walked into the city.

Alexandra started giving me a little tour of the city, and showed me where the sign-ups are going to take place. The whole tour I was just in awe at this magnificent city, it was beautiful, and so large.

"So... You're a Demonslayer, huh?"

"Yep, been one since I was 11 years old," I replied, looking around. Then I look at her.

"What do you do?" I asked, straight out of curiosity.

"Well I'm glad you asked. I'm--"

"ALEXANDRA!" Yelled a girl who wore very expensive clothing, and had guards trailing right behind her. She tackled hugged Alexandra, and than pulled away from her.

"Are you ok? You didn't come back to the palace! So I got worried," she said, making sure Alexandra was alright and wasn't hurt.

"It's alright. Two bandits attacked me, but I'm ok now," Alexandra assured her. The girl gasped and stepped away in shock.

"BANDITS?! How on earth did you fend for yourself?" She asked, in disbelief. Alexandra pointed at me, and smiled.

"He saved me from them."
