"Madison!"

"Stay here with Louis," Liam yelled as he ran past the shocked two, quickly following after the emotional girl. He hadn't the slightest clue what caused her to snap but whatever it was must be pretty serious for her to run off.

"Maddie! Baby, please stop!"

He followed her down the steps, cursing under his breath at how far behind her he was. It wasn't really his fault though, it was such a shock it took both him and Zayn quite a few seconds to register what was happening.

Madison kept running, dodging furniture multiple times. She didn't know where she was going and she only hoped she would find an exit soon. If she didn't, Liam would be right on her.
Hot tears flooded down her face, blurring her vision. She needed out. She was trapped.

She shouldn't have played along with Louis. But she did it because she felt bad for him. She didn't want to hurt his feelings.

Hearing Liam's desperate running come closer, she spun around a few times before heading in the opposite direction, disappearing from his line of sight.

There has to be a door here somewhere. Come on, please.
Where is a door?

Madison still hadn't quite registered what she was doing and honestly it wasn't exactly what she wanted to do.
Her mind told her to run because she knew they would never love her as much as they loved Louis. They wouldn't care for her like they said they would. But, her heart knew that they already loved her just as much as Louis. They had shown her more care in the past 6 hours than anyone has her whole life. So why was she running?

There wasn't time for her to think about her actions or why she was doing them. The front door soon came into her sight and she sprinted, grabbing the door handle with determination and slamming it behind her, without stopping.

She needed to cause as much of a diversion as she could to stop Liam even if it was just one second.

Her eyes dotted around as she kept running, houses that were far bigger than she had ever seen were filled on every corner. But she would have to relish in the size of them later.
She never knew she could run this fast but something told her it wasn't very fast at all compared to Liam.
The brisk, cold fall air stung her pale skin, bringing a soft pink to her cheeks.

What am I doing?

Madison couldn't help but slow down, wondering if she was making the right choice. If she didn't go back she would either die in the streets from no food and the cold, or have to go to another home- and she refused to do that. Anything, even this, is better than a home.

They aren't homes.

She shuddered at the thought of her previous experiences there.

Some where behind her, she heard Liam in the distance, yelling her name. Tiredly, her weak legs tried to speed up, taking a path between two houses. It seemed every inch of this town was covered in flowers or benches. It looked so normal. It wasn't though. Here, you're suppose to be a toddler when you're not. The one thing she hadn't registered in her mind yet was that she passed several parents and littles while she ran.

This neighborhood was very open. It was specially for Age Regression or anyone open for it. Sometimes people would move here waiting for a little, or if their old community hadn't worked out, they would find a new one.
Either way, everyone knew what was happening. It wasn't rare for a little to try and run away at the beginning. They had so much going on in their mind and they didn't have a clue how to process it all. You couldn't really blame the poor dears. What else were they suppose to do? The on lookers felt sorry, knowing exactly how the situation was playing out. But they all knew she couldn't get out.
This was a gated area. "Guards" were at every entry and exit.
