Macs POV

I woke up. Six am. I decided to get ready. I took out skinny jeans, and an awesome t shirt. I grabbed my blue Obey sweat shirt, then I remember it's Hailey's favourite. I smiled at the thought of her, I flipped my hair and put on my red beanie. I went down stairs and breakfast was sitting on the table hot and fresh.

There was a note so I read it.

Dear Mac,

Had to leave to go to work. I'm sorry. It's been really hard lately and I may be getting laid off and we might have to move. I'm so sorry honey. Xoxo-Mom

I couldn't believe what happened. My mom might be getting laid off? Normally I don't cry but I felt the tear dripping down my face.

"NO!" I screamed aloud even though nobody was home.

"This can't be true!!!" I screamed.

At this point tears were racing down my cheeks.

"I HATE my life!" I said. I smashed the table with my fist and kicked the wall.

then I heard my phone go off. One new text from Hailey.

Hailey- Hey thanks so much for coming yesterday.

Me- are you coming to school?

Hailey- nope not for two more days.

At that I put on my high tops and left my breakfast sitting there. I grabbed my skate board and road it to Hailey's house. She was the best girl. And she has done so much for me. Before I got to Hailey's house I went to Starbucks and got her a Strawberry Frap with soy milk and whipped cream on top.

I got myself a Cookies and Cream Frap as well.

Then I rode my skate board the rest of the way.

I knocked on the door. Her mother was standing at the door.

"Oh hello Hun." she said to me.

"Hello Ms.Robbins, umm I sort of wanted to surprise Hailey with this drink." I said to her mother politely.

"Sure hun. Hailey is up in her room, Hannah is here as well." she let me come in to the house.

"Ok thank you." I said. Then I walked up to Hailey's room and opened the door.

I saw the beautiful face of my girlfriend when she saw me her face lit up like a kid on Christmas. She was all tucked into bed and Hannah was sitting on the edge of her bed. I walked over and gently kissed her four head.

"Hey, how are you?" I asked handing Hailey her drink.

"I'm doing alright. Better now that I have you guys here.

"Well I got to go to school. how about you Mac?" She asked me.

"Uhm no I'm not going to school today." I said to her.

"Ok Suit yourself." she said smiling and left closing the door behind her.

"Your staying here?" she asked.

"Yes I am. Something might be going down and I need to be with you." I said.

"Wait what happened?" she asked worried.

"My mom might lose her job." I told her my eyes tearing up.

"Oh baby, it will be ok. even if it's not-" I cut her off.

"No Hailey. If it does happen we might have to move." I replied very upset.

Her eyes teared up and she started to cry.

"No! I need you." she said crying.

I pulled her into my chest her clinging on. We hugged for a very long time.

Us both didn't let go. I decided to lay down next to her and I held her in my arms. We slowly fell asleep.
