Mac Harmon + Me

School is ruined?!

Hailey's POV

So we have school at 8:30 this morning. I woke up and got a text from Mac.

Mac-Hey good morning! Just wanted to remind you, we gotta go to school so get ready lol! :)

Me- good morning! And ew school.. But it will be better now that your here.

I took a shower washing my hair and all of that stuff. And then I brushed my hair and went to my closet. I put a pair of blue skinny jeans on and wore a red knitted sweat her and paired it up with white converse. I went back I to the bathroom and tied my hair up in a pony tail. I walked downstairs and my mom was already awake getting ready for work. Today there was no nice meal sitting there for me.

"Good morning sweet heart. Your dad will be here soon, because I have to go in to work early.

my dad walked in the door.

"Good morning ladies." he said. Ever since he has had this new girl friend it's like he doesn't have any time for us. which to me I couldn't care about. He never seemed to be fully aware of my life anyways.

"Hi dad" I said giving him a hug.

I went over to the kitchen and made a Nutella sandwich for my breakfast and I had a strawberry yogurt smoothie.

my dad made my lunch for me and my mom left. I waited for Mac to come. I went upstairs and I sat on my bed listing to music. I heard a stone hit my window and I walk over. I peered down to see Mac standing there.

I opened the door.

"Hey don't break my window!" I said to him.

"No worries." he said. I ran downstairs and grabbed my school bag.

"Bye dad!" I shouted closing the door behind him. Good thing I left my cellphone in my school bag.

We walked to school just talking about the dance studio and stuff. Once we got to school.. I couldn't believe what I saw. It was vandalized. There were flames, and smashed windows, spray paint cans on the lawn and words written on the walls saying stuff like

'School sucks.' Yeah school might not be the greatest but really ? This was way to far! Mac looked at me and I just stood there frozen with my mouth hanging open. Police men and women were interviewing people to see if anyone saw what happened. Fire fighter were there trying to take out the fire. Mac and I looked at each other.

"I got an idea.." I said to him.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he asked.

"We both try to figure out who has done this!" I said.

"Exactly!" He said.

And that's exactly what we will do.

"Hey you kids!" the police shouted over to us. He walked towards us.

"Hello officer." We said.

"Have you guys seen what happened?" he asked.

"No we were just coming to go to school. This is news to us." I said to him.

"Okay well obviously you can see school will be canceled until it is rebuilt." he said.

"Okay thank you sir. We will be on our way now." Said Mac. We started to walk away, I saw a spray can on the ground and took out my mittens. I put my mittens on and picked up the can. I put it in my bag and Mac looked at me.

"Why did you take that?" he asked.

"Well we need to take finger prints to figure out who it is." I said to him.

Then it all began...
