Alpha Of My Dreams - Chapter Twenty Three

Alex POV:

"That fucker is mine today," I yelled as I ran as fast as my legs would carry me.

As we ran through the forest, all I could see was the fear and anguish on my mom's face in that picture.

"Alex baby," I hear through the link, causing me to instantly slow my pace as I realized it was Jaden. Hearing her angelic voice brought me out of my fog of rage and revenge.

"Alex, please answer me!" Jaden pleaded.

Was she crying? What was wrong with her? Had someone hurt her? My wolf was whining and wanted to go back to her.

"Jaden, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked through our link as I could feel the fear and uncertainty coming from her, making me want to turn around and go back to the pack house and hold her in my arms.

"Please let her be alright," I prayed as I tried to focus.

"Alex, are you alright? That's a dumb question, of course I know you're not alright, but I need you to calm down and not rush into war without thinking straight, and end up getting yourself killed," Jaden cried causing my heart to ache as I could feel her sorrow and desperation.

I vowed to nake Jerry pay for every tear she had sheded because if his punk ass.

"Baby, I'm fine now that I have ran off some of my anger, but I'm still going to kill the fucker for hurting my mom," I replied as we started to see the compound, and I signaled for everyone to slow down and stay focused.

"Alex, I love you, and you promise me that you will try to be careful and come home to me in one piece," she cried causing my heart to ache more and my wolf to whine again making me more determined to kill this son of a bitch with a slow and painful death.

"Jayden, I promise to be careful and come home in one piece. I love you too baby! I have to go now, we just reached their compound," I said as we all banded together and saw that the compound was an abandoned farm, and the yard was full of Jerry's army of wolves.

"Please be careful," Jaden replied just as I noticed the army was heading straight for us causing me to break the link with her.

"Alright everyone get ready, because they know that we are here. Keep your eyes open and watch each other's back," I yelled as the other three alpha and I led our packs into battle going full speed.

As I ran, I headed straight for the farm house in the middle of the compound, because I knew that's were Jerry and my mom would be. The moment we ran head to head with Jerry's army, I tackled the leader of the group, who was a huge tan wolf with white fur around his eyes.

"Alex, you take that big one, and we will handle the rest, while you focus on getting to Aunt Jennifer " Jacob said through their link and from his spot to my left as he battled two grey wolves.

"Alright, let's do this!"I yelled through the link as I narrowed my vision in on my prey, while I cleared my thoughts of everything but my objective to save my mom and kill Jerry.

As I tackled the wolf to the ground, he quickly flipped my off and had the nerve to wolf smile at me.

"This punk thinks this shit is funny," I thought to myself as we started to circle each other.

Then I heard a loud sound radiate through the sky, just I a felt something hit me in my side, causing me to growl as I fight to stay on my paws, while keeping an eye on my opponent. When I looked up, I saw Jerry standing on the porch of the farmhouse, holding a riffle in his hands, smiling at me.

"This fucker shot me, and is gloating about," I growled as I fought the urge to collapse.

"Guys, I just saw Jerry at the farmhouse, but don't think I can reach him since I've been shot in my side," I said as I felt myself getting weaker, as more blood poured out my wournd

"Alex hold on, I'm coming" Jacob yelled through the link, just as I looked up to see my opponent starting to charge at me.

Pulling all my strength and energy together, I waited till he was right on me, and I smacked the shit out of him with my paw, and went for his jugular with my teeth. When I had a good grip on him as he tried to fighe me, I ripped out his throat. I screamed out in pain, when his heavy ass landed on top of me.

"Alex, hold on, we're here," Jacob said as I was forced to transform back into my human form after they lifted his heavy butt off me.

I could feel my body growing tired, but I had to push forward for my pack, my family and my mate. My side felt like it was on fire, and I couldn't catch my breath, as I looked at Jacob, James, and Jaden's uncles as they circled me.

"Alex, I need to see if the bullet went straight through, if not we are going have remove it so that you can start to heal," James said as Jimmy and Ken sat me up, causing me to growl as the pain radiated through my body.

I felt my body trying to heal itself slowly, which gave me hope that I could finish this.

"The bullet went clean through, but you have lost alot of blood, and I dont know if the bullet hit your kidneys or not, so we need to get you back so the doctor can check you out," James stated, causing me to look at him like he done lost his mind.

"I have to find mom and kill Jerry. This shit has to end today so I can keep everyone I love safe," I yell as I slowly stand up and I jurk a shirt off a dead man laying on the ground and wrap it around my waist to stop the bleeding. The pain brought tears to my eyes, but my rage fueled my body and mind.

Returning home wasn't an option, without my mom and Jerry being dead.

"Alex, we understand you wanting this over, and to save Aunt Jennifer, but you will bleed to death if you don't heal and rest," Jacob stated just as our packs circled them.

When I looked around, I saw that we had gained control of the compound.

"Its my job to protect you all and that's what I'm going to do. Now we need to storm the house, but remember to look for any of Jerry's traps and look out for my mom. Kill anyone in sight!" I yelled causing everyone to bow their heads out of respect.

"Alex, we will be with you every step of the way, plus if you die, my daughter will have our heads on a platter," James joked.

Even with the pain radiating through my body, the mention of my mate brightens my day and reenforced my determination to end Jerry's reigning of terror over us so I can get back to her and that beautiful smile.

"Alright, let's end this shit once and for all," I yell just before I transform and chrage into the house.

Do you think they will be able to save Jennifer, or is she already dead? Also do you think Alex will make it through this battle, or will they die?
