It had been an hour since his mother arrived. And half an hour since Jack's sister Lauren picked up her daughters and took them home.

Jack had refused to leave her side. Jack was sat on the couch opposite his mum when she stood up, Jack also stood up but his mother shook her head "Jack, your friends are upstairs. I can't keep you from them all night. I'll be fine." Jack mother went to leave the room as Jack grabbed her wrist tugging her back "Mum what if those rouges are still out there?" Jack watched as his mother's gaze moved up to meet his, but it stopped half way. She reached her hand towards him her fingers running across the two small holes on his neck. Jack's eyes widened as he remembered. But it was too late to do anything. Jack said nothing, he merely took hold of his mother's wrist gently and lowered it. Although he didn't want to, he looked at his mother as their gazes locked. They stared at each other silent for a moment. Jack was the first to break it as he tried to justify himself and Mark "It was when I came back last night...Mark wanted to go hunting for a rabbit or something, but I knew you and the others would be patrolling the woods...If you had saw Mark I knew you would've saw him as a threat so I allowed him to drink from me. He didn't hurt me and he didn't take that much! He didn't want to I swear! I made him and-" Jack's mother stopped him as she said "Those marks...It shows he was careful and reluctant..." Jack mother left and Jack watched as she opened the front door. He saw his mother say something to Mark but he couldn't make out what it was and with that she left.

Jack walked over to Mark and took his hand, Mark wore a soft smile as he watched Jack's mother switch to her wolf form and run off into the woods. He turned to look at Jack as Jack asked in a soft voice "What did my mum say?" Mark looked at Jack and kissed his lips softly "She told me to continue to look after you." Jack blinked a couple times. Was his mother seriously going to accept Mark, just like that? After the reception she gave him when she found out?

Mark picked Jack up and he yelped surprised. Mark laughed as Jack scowled at him "Mark that was not funny." Mark laughed "It was. Come on, after all this excitement maybe we can finish our truth or dare game." Mark put Jack down as they entered the house and locked the door. Felix, Jack and Mark made their way upstairs to the spare room to find Wade and Daithi talking. The two looked up as Jack, Mark and Felix walked in. Jack smiled softly "My mum called my sister and she picked up my nieces and my mother and is taking them home." Daithi smiled a little as he nodded. Felix, Mark and Jack sat on their sleeping bags and Jack laughs "So are we gonna get back to our game of truth or dare?" Wade smirked "Yeah! After all Felix had to take a dare!" Felix groaned slightly "I was hoping you would have forgotten that." Jack smirked "Oh yeah, I was going to get the stuff we have in for dares before my mum came." He paused for a moment before groaning "I'm too lazy to go back downstairs so we'll just have to think of a dare." Mark laughed "Alright then." He paused and appeared to be thinking for a moment as he smirked "You have to run outside and yell your intro!" Felix groaned slightly standing up and heading towards the door as he said "I hate you." Jack opened the window as Mark, Wade and Daithi looked outside. Felix stood outside Jack's house as he yelled "How's it going bros? My name PewDiePie!" Felix's yell echoed around and the four men laughed as they saw Felix run into the house and heard him running back up the stairs. Felix came back into the room and glared at Mark "I hate you." Mark smirked "Oh I know you do Felix."

The Following Morning.

Jack woke up to the smell of coffee. He noticed himself smiling softly as he sat himself up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. As he looked around the room Wade and Felix where still in their sleeping bags. Jack stood himself up and slowly made his way downstairs seeing Daithi and Mark in the kitchen.

Mark saw Jack approaching the kitchen and smiled softly "Morning sleeping beauty." Mark said in a teasing fashion. Jack merely smirked as he said "And morning to you too Marklefart." Mark kissed Jack's lips softly as the two smiled. Daithi shook his head slightly "When you two are done trying to make me puke rainbows. I've made coffee for everyone." Mark walked into the living room taking a sip from the mug he had in his hand. Daithi handed Jack a mug "You take your coffee black right?" Jack nodded "Yeah, thanks Daithi." Jack took a drink from the mug smiling. He always loved a good cup of coffee first thing on a morning. As Jack moved the cups from his lips he noticed Daithi looking a little distracted.

Jack watched Daithi for a moment as Daithi shook his head before looking at Jack "Jack. Please don't get mad at me but...I need to tell you something." Jack was a little confused but decided considering Daithi's unusual behaviour he should be as supportive as he can for his friend "What is it Daithi?" Daithi stayed silent for a moment before letting out a sigh "I saw the bite marks on your neck yesterday...They're still there today and I know who gave you them." Jack felt his heart skip a beat. Daithi didn't know about Mark or about himself. How would he react? Jack quickly played it cool "Bite marks?" Daithi nodded as he replied in a slightly stern tone "Jack I'm not stupid and you don't have to lie to protect him. I know that those marks are from a vampire. I also know that it was Wade." Jack shook his head. Daithi thinks it's Wade? More to the point he seems to be pretty conviced that they're vampire bites without any proof. Although his assumption was half right, he wanted to know why Daithi thought this so continued to play dumb "Vampire? Wade? Daithi are you sure you're alright?" Daithi let out an agitated sigh "You don't have to lie to protect that blood sucker Jack! I...I shouldn't tell you this, I can get in trouble but seeing as you've already been bitten by him. I guess I can tell you..." Daithi paused for a moment "My family, my parents and myself...We're hunters. We go after vampires and were-wolves. Monsters that are only out to kill humans! I but something in everyone's coffee. It's harmless to humans but to vampires and wolves...It forces them to reveal their true selves." Jack felt himself freeze. Anger grew in Jack as he glared at Daithi "You put something in everyone's drink? And for what to try and prove to me that vampire and were-wolves are real? That's absolute shit! How could you believe something like that?" Jack put the mug down and shook his head "I'm going to get dressed alright. Before I do something I regret." Jack left the kitchen and headed upstairs. He needed to warn Wade and Felix and Mark. He would have to text Mark so things didn't look suspicious. As for Wade and Felix they were still in the bedroom.

Jack entered the bedroom as Felix and Wade looked at him slightly worried "Jack are you alright?" Felix asked the worry in his expression conveyed in his tone of voice "We heard you yelling." Wade added in the same sort of tone. Jack growled slightly "Not really...Daithi is a hunter...I only just found that out..." Jack paused and took a moment to calm himself down. After all, he was annoyed at Daithi for his preach of trust not just to Jack but to all their friends. He put something in Everyones mug not just Wade's which proved that Daithi didn't really trust any of them. Jack let out a sigh as he spoke again "He but something in everyone's coffee...Don't worry though it's harmless to you two...But for me and Mark...It makes us reveal our true selves and from what I've heard about it...It's painful and can cause us to...react badly..." Felix's eyes widen "Why would Daithi do that?" Jack sighed "He saw the Mark bite marks on my neck and for some reason thought it was Wade who bit me. But...He's gonna find out that it's not and...After what he's done, because he only told me after Mark and I took a drink from the coffee...After what he's done. I don't know if I can trust him." Wade audibly gulped. Jack shook his head "If things go wrong...I'm worried that I hurt one of you...Get yourselves and Daithi out." Felix and Wade looked at each other as Jack ran his fingers through his hair letting out a sigh "I need to let Mark know. But if I tell him Daithi might see and find it suspicious. I'll have to text him. Luckily, he won't leave the bedroom till he's dressed and he always has his phone in his pocket." Jack picked up his phone from the table in the corner of the room and quickly text Mark

Jack: Don't read this allowed and don't react. Act normal. Daithi but a revealing agent in our coffee. He thinks Wade is a vampire as he saw my bite marks. It's too late for us to just not drink the coffee. So we're gonna have to let it play through. I've warned Felix and Wade but they are gonna pretend they don't know.

Mark: I don't really know what to say. I guess thanks for the heads up. Like you said we have to let it play through.

Jack put his phone down as he looked to Wade and Felix "I'm gonna go get dressed. I'll probably see you two down there." Felix and Wade nodded as Jack left the spare room and went into his own to get dressed.
