You and Allen were inseparable. After you joined the order Allen was the first to welcome you and since then you have become the best of friends.
But your feeling for Allen started to change and you now see him for what he is a man. You had developed a crush on your best friend, it was nice but also terrifying as your feeling could destroy everything, that is why you haven't dared to tell Allen how you really feel about him. But as the day passed your feelings grew stronger and it soon became unbearable to be with him as your heart ached.
So you started to distance yourself from him, and it was working until Komui decided to give the two of you a mission together.
And here you are now sitting in your hotel room and packing your bag. Your mission was a success you and Allen collected the innocence together, but the whole week you where here it was agony the two of you had barely said a word to each other and it had gotten harder to avoid Allen, and let's not forget the women constantly latching themselves to him.
You were exhausted and couldn't wait to you got back to the order where you could further distance yourself from Allen.
That was until the bad news arrived.
You couldn't leave until tomorrow because your boat doesn't leave until then.
You let out an irritated sigh, it was so boring, there was nothing to do and no akuma where around either.
That was until there was another knock at the door, you where hesitant because every time there have been a knock on the door this trip it has always been something bag.
You hesitantly open the door, "hello?" (HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDEEEE I MUST OF CALLED A THOUSAND TIMMES! *cough* *cough* sorry about that).
Allen stood in front of you all dressed up holing a bouquet of (FAVOURITE FLOWERS) "Hi (y/n) I would like to ask if you would do me the honour and accompanied me to the ball in town tonight?" He said a big pink blush on his face.
You blush and are about to refuse, (thoughts: I guess one night won't kill me.) you give a small smile, "I would happily accompany you." A huge smile breaks out across Allen's face. "Let me change quickly and I will meet you down stairs in an hour" Allen doesn't argue he just quickly nods and heads down stairs.
You smile before shutting the door, "time to get to work."
1 hour later.
You come down stairs and Allen is there waiting patiently, he sees you and his face turns bright red and his hear beats faster. He stands and holds out the bouquet from earlier, "These are for you."
You blush and accept the flowers "(f/f) how did you know?" You say with a small pink blush and matching smile.
Allen's blush darkens "I saw you admiring them once before, any way shall we go." He extends his hand and you gladly accept it.
Allen escort you to the ball in silence both of your heart beating frantically, and both oblivious to each other's feeling.
You arrive at the ball and it is the most gorgeous thing you have ever seen, the bright light, the sweet music, the beautiful gowns and jewels, the handsome men with the beautiful women and the exquisite chandelier hanging in the centre of the room, everything looked like it belonged their, everyone and everything except you.
You shy away from the crowd feeling embarrassed and out of place. You run away from Allen and run back outside the humongous mansion, the bright lights from inside illuminating the dark streets and the music still clearly heard from outside.
Allen chases after you and gently grabs you arm "are you alright (y/n)?"
"No I am not alright, I don't belong there Allen! Amongst those beautiful people and magnificent possessions."
Allen cups your face in his hand forcing you to look into his purple eyes. "You are beautiful (y/n), you were the most gorgeous and magnificent one in there and I just couldn't keep my eyes of you."
You blush " Your just saying that to make me feel better." You look away from him.
"No, I am saying it because I love you."
Your eyes widen in shock and you look back into Allen's eyes, "what did you say?" You say in disbelief.
"I love you (y/n)."
"You big Baka!" You start to cry happy tears but Allen confuses them for sad ones.
"WHAA I AM SO SORRY (y/n) I DIDN'T MEAN TO UPSET YOU!!"
You giggle as tears continued to stream down you face, "Baka I'm not sad I am happy that you feel the same."
Allen is shocked, "what did you say?"
"I love you Allen." You smile at him.
A huge smile spreads across his face and he kisses you and you kiss back feeling butterflies in you stomach.
When the kiss break Allen smiles at you, "May I have this dance my lady?"
You giggle, "You may."
And the two of you dance the moon and the light from the Windows mansion illuminating your faces as you two continued to dance to the silent music, happy and content in each other arms.
Allen dips you and he smiles.
"I love you (y/n)."
"I love you to Allen."
You both smile and kiss each other again treating your time together like it could be your last moments together.
