Lost

So I'm the stupidest person alive. After I left Cain in the dust (inward evil laugh) I promptly got lost. So stupid! I am still driving this stupid motorcycle, which by the way is about to run out of gas. So yeah that's what is happening to me at the moment. That's my situation. How are you guys doing? Laughing at my misfortune are you! I bet you are!

Crap. The gas just ran out. I am the most pathetic person on the face of the earth right now. I leave the bike by the closest tree as I now find myself in the middle of nowhere with trees on either side of the road. I walk along the left side so I can flag down any cars that might happen to come down this path. My gut is telling me to get off the road and go into the woods but I don't feel like getting anymore lost than I already am. I watch as a couple of squirrels chase each other up a tree.

I pause in the road as I hear a car approaching from behind me. The car pulls up next to me and comes to a stop. I hear the window rolls down and I turn my head to see my asshole of a brother smirking at me. "What's up sis?" he asks with his cocky smile.

"Leon," I manage to grunt out between my clenched teeth.

"Seems like you're a little lost sis. Need a ride?"

I weigh my options here in this situation. I could go with him and end up dead in the process or I could run. But honestly, I came here to find him and here he is. Plus he could lead me to Ty. I walk around the front of the car, staring at Leon the entire time, and get in the passenger seat of the car. If he even thinks about trying to control my mind I will tear his body apart. "Nice to see you again sis," he says as I get into the car.

"Stop calling me 'sis' it pisses me off," I snap at him.

He has no right to call me "sis". I haven't seen him in over five years. Besides he was the one who screwed our whole family over. Because of him I haven't seen my father since Leon went missing. My father went to look for Leon after he left and he was never seen again. Most people say he died but I believe he's still out there somewhere. After that I went to live with my aunt and uncle, who I've been living with ever since the incident.

Leon rolls his eyes at my comment and starts driving the car again. "If you think I surrendered myself to you, you are sorely mistaken. I am only with you because this is the only way I can find Ty. Who you stole by the way!" I say, glaring at him.

He laughs and looks over at me. "So that's the name of the boy we picked out. Don't tell me you two are a thing?" he remarks.

I huff and look out the window, refusing to look at him. We drive for what seems like an hour before pulling up to a dead end. The road has ended and a plethora of trees lies ahead of us.

Oh how wonderful, we are going to drive through the trees. Leon slams on the gas as I scream bloody murder. Just as I suspected would happen, despite my screaming, the trees disappear and a secret passageway appears in front of us. We drive through the opening and continue down a dirt road. A few minutes pass before we pull up to a tall, reflective building. The entire outside of the building looks like a huge mirror that shows all of the trees, distorted by the cracks in the windows. I'm startled when I see shot marks in the windows. They didn't break the glass which would mean that these windows are bullet proof.

Leon steps out of the car and I follow, looking at the extensive forest that surrounds us. If I even attempted an escape in the future, I would have no idea how to get out of here. I suppose I could follow the dirt road but I'm pretty sure that would lead me to more tree passageways. And I'm pretty sure they wouldn't open for me.

Leon looks at me as if to say Are you going to come with me or do I have to drag you myself? I decide to go with the first option, I don't like being dragged. He walks up to the building and unlocks the door with his fingerprint on the pad next to the doorframe. A beep sounds and Leon pulls the door open, allowing me to go in before him. I enter the building and look around at the front room. The ceiling looms above my head and a chandelier hangs by a thin chain, taunting me, threatening to drop on my head. I look back down at the rest of the room in front of me. There are reflective walls all around me and no stairs to go any higher. However, a glass elevator lies in the middle of the room with another fingerprint pad next to it.

Leon walks past me and activates the elevator. He waits for me to get in before pressing the button for the fourth floor. The ride up is so quick that I'm dizzy when it stops. I bring my hand up to my head as I step out onto the floor. Leon leads me down a long hallway to what looks like a conference room with a one-sided window. I look through the window into what looks like a lab room. My heart stops beating when I realize that's exactly what it is. A lab room.

In the middle of the room there is a hospital bed with a person lying on it, hooked up to wires and tubes. I suck in a breath when I see who's on the bed. "Ty!!"
