It was a wonderful evening. Josh had invited Ari to Steak n Shake, and of course Ashley and Taylor tagged along. Ari and Josh were seated in a booth while Ashley and Taylor sat at the table next to them. Ashley and Taylor were just talking and laughing, while Ari was on her phone. Josh stared at her.
Ari noticed after a while, "What are you doing, Captain?" She said, calling him by a nickname she had given him.
"Just staring at a beautiful girl." He said, still gawking at her.
Ari turned around, "Where?" She asked. She laughed and Josh chucked. He then took her cheek in his hand and turned her back to face him. "Right here." He said as he brought her in for a kiss over the table.
Just then, the waitress arrived. "Here's your milkshake, chocolate-banana.
Hope you enjoy it." She said.
"Thank you-" Josh squinted at her name tag, "Barbra."
"You're welcome, have a nice evening." She said as she walked away.
Ari and Josh each took a straw and plucked it in the milkshake. They shared it and stared at each other lovingly as they drank it. Ashley and Taylor were fangirling the entire time.
