Hello to the people who are reading this. This is my first one-shot book (if you haven't noticed already) so please tell me how I did. Also if you have any ideas, tell me in the comment section, and I might put it in this book, and by the way I'm going to be putting adorable Amourshipping pictures and nightcore music at the beginning of each chapter. By the way, if your wondering how long these are going to be then there going to be 1000 words plus. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my first one-shot :3

(Serena's POV)

Clemont, Bonnie, me and Ash were all making our way to Luminose City so Ash could get his 5th gym badge.
Right now I've just woken up from my peaceful sleep to hear Ash shouting outside.
I get dressed and get out my tent.
"Ash, what's with all the shouting?" I ask. "Guess what Serena! My old traveling companion Misty is coming to Luminose City tomorrow, so we're going to see her!" "Great." I try to say as happy as I can.
I'm already starting to hate this Misty girl just from Ash talking about her. I mean, he didn't get this excited when he met me again, actually, he didn't remember me at all!
"Um, Serena, are you ok?"
I snap out of my thoughts to realize that I'm frowning.
"Oh, uh yer, I'm fine." I fake smile.
This is going to be a LONG day.
As we travelled to Luminose all Ash was talking about was his travels with MISTY!
I mean, what about our travels Ash, the good times WE had, not FREAKING MISTY'S travels she had with you!
He was also talking about this guy named Brock, and he seemed ok.
Bonnie had realized my anger so she walked next to Clemont and Ash and I was trailing behind.
After a while Ash noticed that I wasn't with them and started walking beside me.
"Are you sure you're ok Serena, you've haven't been acting yourself today." "Yer, I'm fine Ash, I'm just tired that's all." I fake smile.
I can't tell Ash that I hate his friend that I haven't even met and Ash is as dense as HELL so he'll fall for any lie I say.
"Oh ok, just tell me if any things bothering you ok Serena."
He does his signature grin that makes me forget all my problems.
"Yep, ok thanks Ash." "No problem."
Ash walks beside me for a while until he starts to run to Luminose City.
I was really enjoying the company from Ash, but OF COURSE stupid Misty girl has to interrupt my time with Ash.
She's not EVEN here and she's already ruining my life.
We make it to Luminose and Ash starts running to the Pokecentre.
"Come on guys, I want to see Misty!" He shouts.
When I meet this Misty, if she does anything to MY Ash then she's going to get her head blown in by my fist.
Bonnie walks up to me.
"Are you ok Serena?" She asks.
I tell Bonnie most things because she's a really trustworthy girl and she knows that I have a crush on Ash, but I'm finding it really hard to tell her now, no clue why, I think it's because it's about someone else other than me or Ash.
"I'm fine Bonnie." I say really bluntly. "You don't look or sound ok." "Well, I'm fine ok."
I think I sounded a bit too snappy because Bonnie walked off with a please don't kill me expression on her face.
I sigh, this is going to be one of the worst days ever, I can just tell.
I eventually get to the Pokecentre where Ash, Bonnie and Clemont were.
"Serena where were you, you started to make me worry." Ash says.
OMG, did Ash just say he was worried about me. I'm going to walk much slower from now on.
"Sorry, I was just walking slowly, that's all." "Oh ok, anyway, let's go ask nurse joy if she's seen Misty."
REALLY! I just experienced one of the best moments of my life and then Misty has to ruin it AGAIN! I really don't want to see this Misty girl now!
An orange haired girl then walked into the Pokecentre.
Ash turned around and a huge smile appeared on his face.
I'm telling you that this is probably the happiest I've ever seen Ash.
"Misty!" He shouts as he runs up to her and gives her a HUG! A FREAKING HUG! I've never got a hug from Ash! I bet even if I cried my eyes out he still wouldn't hug me!
I felt jealousy and anger rise up in my body.
I just wanted to straight up walk up to this girl and smash her in the face.
"Hi Ash! It's so nice to see you again!" She pulls away from the hug. Thank god for that!
"Yer I've missed you so much!" "Me too Ash!"
Wait. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait. Did Ash just say that he MISSED HER! He missed her.
It feels as if a knife has been stabbed into my heart and is just stuck there.
"U-um, A-Ash, I don't feel so well, so I'm going to the room." "Uh, wait Serena!" Ash shouted, but I ignored it, tears started pouring from my eyes. I know it's just a hug and he only said 'I missed you' but that means a lot to me.
I've waited 10 years to see him and finally, when I do another girl appears and takes him away from me.
I run down the corridor to our bedrooms and quickly open the door, looking from left to right to see if anyone is coming.
The door finally unlocks. I rush inside, slam the door and run into the bathroom.
All the anger has gone from me. What's left is jealousy and depression, two things that a broken heart has, and my heart is close to that.
I look at myself in the mirror.
This isn't me, this isn't the determined Serena that will win Ash.
I wipe the tears from my eyes and wash my face.
It is time to get my Ash from that carrot head!
I walk out the room and down the corridor to the lobby.
As I walk in I only see Bonnie and Clemont.
"Serena! There you are, you worried me." She puffed up her cheeks at me. "Sorry Bonnie. Anyway, where is Ash?"
I wasn't going to ask where Misty went because I don't give a donkey's bottom about her.
"Oh, he and Misty went to grab a few things at the mall, they said they'd be back by dawn." "Ok, thanks, bye!" I shout running out the door.
I bet they weren't expecting me to chase after Ash ash Misty.
I eventually get to the mall.
I am not going to let miss carrot head go on a date to the mall with MY Ash.
I see Ash and Misty walk into a shop so charge up to them.
Ash turns around and sees me.
"Serena?! What are you doing here?" "I w-wanted to c-come with y-you." I say still trying to catch my breath.
"Oh, ok. So are you feeling any better?" He asks.
Oh yeah, I just remembered, I said I was ill.
"Uh, yes, I feel much better Ash." A large smile formed on my face, till I see Misty.
That little carrot head is stealing MY Ash and she's going to pay.
Misty steps in front of Ash.
"Hi, my names Misty. What's yours?"
She says it so cheerfully, like everything is ok. I really hate this girl.
"Hi, my name is Serena, nice to meet you." I fake smile, which gladly I pull off because she smiles back.
"Shall we go buy some stuff then?" Ash asks.
"Sure!" Me and Misty say in unison.
HOW DARE she say the same thing as me, and at the same time! I'm probably over exaggerating, but she is the one stopping me from doing anything with Ash.
We walk around a bunch of shops and I was going to buy something, but I was one hundred poke dollars off so I couldn't buy it.
Ash's tummy started grumbling so we're going to the cafe now so we can grab something to eat.
We arrive at the cafe and take a seat at a table of four.
I'm just about to take a seat next to Ash, but Misty has to sit next to him!
The place next to Ash is MY place, not YOURS, not some random person and not MISS CARROT HEAD!
I look up to see Ash looking at me with a worried expression on his face.
"Are you sure you're ok Serena?"
I was about to answer when Misty butts in.
"She's fine Ash, stop being so worried, if she was ill she would tell you, wouldn't she?" "Uh, y-yeah."
HOW DARE YOU BUTT INTO MY SENTENCE MISS CARROT! She doesn't know how I feel, she just FREAKING met me!
I really can't stand this any longer.
I want to run away, but I must keep Misty away from my Ash, even if it does hurt.
I decide to just get myself a glass of lemonade, I really don't feel hungry, even if I haven't eaten anything today.
"So what do you want Serena?" Ash asks me. "Just a glass of lemonade please." He looks at me with his confused face. "You sure, I mean, you haven't eaten anything today Serena." "Yer, I'm sure Ash." "Uh, ok."
He walks over to the counter to order.
Misty looks at me, great.
"Where did you get that blue ribbon from Serena?" She questions, pointing to the top of my chest where the ribbon was tied.
"Ash gave it to me as a present for helping him." "You must be really close friends then."
If she's trying to get on my good side, then it's not working. I bet she's just trying to befriend me so she can spend more time with Ash.
"Yer. Anyway, how did you and Ash meet?"
I want to find out about her past, I'm sure it will help me in the future.
"Well, I met Ash when he stole my bike to get away from a bunch of Spearow and I started my journey with him so I could get my bike back because he destroyed it. So why did you start traveling with Ash?"
HA! That's such a pathetic excuse to follow Ash! I bet when she hears why I travelled with Ash, she's going to realize that Ash is much closer to me than her.
"Well Ash helped me when we were little when we went to this Pokemon Summer Camp and he let me use his handkerchief. Ten years later I saw him on the news because he saved a Garchomp so, I eventually caught up to him, gave him back his handkerchief and he invited me on his journey." "Wow, so you knew each other since you were kids." "Yep."
Ash then walks over.
"Here's your lemonade Serena. I also got you a biscuit just in case you were hungry."
That's so sweet of him. This is the Ash I know and love.
"Thanks Ash." "No problem Serena."
Ash hands out everyone's food and drinks and then starts to chow down on his Spaghetti Bolognese.
It feels like Ash is really concerned about me today, I mean, he asked if I'm alright like three, four times.
We sit there is silence eating, well Ash and Misty were eating.
Ash finishes in record time and I finished my lemonade soon after that. Misty was only like halfway done with her plate so I took this as a good time to speak to Ash.
"So Ash, you're against Clemont next, right?" "Um yer, I'm really looking forward to it and hopefully I'll be able to get my 5th badge." "I'm sure you're going to win Ash, I mean, you've been training every day." "Thanks Serena." "No problem, I'll be cheering you on."
We wait a couple more minutes and Misty FINALLY finishes.
We pay the bill and then exit the cafe.
"Um, Ash, can I speak to you a moment." Misty says. "Um, yer sure Misty." "Follow me then."
"So you're just going to ditch me then, thanks guys." I whisper to myself.
I decide to follow them, to see what Misty is doing with my Ash.
Misty leads Ash to the park.
I sneak into the bushes behind were there seated.
"Um, Ash." She says. "Yes, Misty." "Will you be my boyfriend?"
My heart froze, actually time froze for me then so I hear Ash reply slowly and painfully.
"Of course Misty."
Ash had so much happiness in his voice.
My eyes teared up, my heart started aching and my whole body moved by itself.
I ran through the forest, tears gushing out my eyes.
This can't be real, Ash sees Misty for one day and he instantly loves her.
I waited ten years Ash, I waited ten years to see you. But no, that doesn't matter anymore because he has Misty now.
I collapse on the floor, my chest burns and my stomach feels like it's been smashed by a boulder.
Everything goes blurry from the tears as I lay there useless on the floor.
I was heartbroken.
