Brooklynn's POV:

We pulled up to the house shortly to find no one there. "So, um... Why aren't you working when everyone else is?" He chuckled. "I decided to take a day off." I looked at him with confusion. "Does Aunt Justine know about this?" He looked away and then stared me directly in the eyes. "Do you want me to lie Brooklynn?" I was confused by this. "Huh?" He then made his face closer to mine where I could almost feel his breath. "Do you want me to lie to you. Do you want me to tell you she knows so you will think better of me?" I wanted so bad to turn away but I couldn't. His mysterious green eyes had pulled me in. "No." I said plainly. No. Is that seriously all I could say? "Well then no, Ms. Justine does not know... and she doesn't need to okay?" I slowly nodded. "Why won't you tell her? I mean if you tell her why you needed the day off she would surely give it to you." He turned away and looked out the window. "It's not that simple Brooklynn, I've been in this situation before. If your Aunt Justine finds out, I may loose my job and so will the rest of the summer help. Please trust me on this." His face was full of sorrow, as if something terrible has happened. "Fine, I won't mention that you're skipping out." He smiled. "Thanks Brookie." He laughed. "Call me Brookie one more time and I won't be covering for you." I laughed while opening the door. "You know you like it." He smirked. I rolled my eyes as I walked away "Do you want me to lie?"

Liam's POV:

And then she was gone. As I backed out of the driveway and started towards the café I kept thinking that I should've told her what was going on... I mean how do I expect her to cover for Harley and I when she doesn't even know what's going on? I feel like Brooklynn isn't going to be like the rest of the guests that Ms. Justine has stay in the house every summer. I may just... fall in... no. What am I thinking? Me fall in love with some goody-goody from Europe? Harley needs me right now and that's who I need to focus on. I pulled up to the café to find Harley standing outside in a loose shirt to hide her stomach. "Hop in Harles." She smiled and climbed into the front seat where moments ago Brooklynn sat. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience... I didn't mean for this to happen again. I mean I really thought he cared about me Liam. I can't believe I'd be so stupid to make the same mistake twice." I kept my eyes firmly on the road. I couldn't look her in the eyes. "And I thought Diesel was my main worry... what was I thinking? What were you thinking?!" I tightened my grip on the steering wheel and turned the radio up louder. "You know Liam, pretending this whole thing isn't happening isn't going to make it any better. It didn't work last time and it won't work this time either. I can't go through another abortion." Abortion. The word sliced me in two. It was something I took part in. It was my fault that a poor innocent baby was killed. "I know you can't Harles. I know... and that's what scares me! We're all out of options! You have to have this baby. You have to raise it. Your dreams of making it big in Hollywood are over with! We have to raise this baby... just like we should be raising your last one!" I yelled. That's when I heard it. The sniffle, which is followed by a waterfall of tears. "I couldn't help it Liam! I was all out of options. Abortion was my last option and you know it! I have to live with it every single day! I was scared... I was only 16, and again I thought he cared. Now I know I was wrong."

We rode the rest of the ten minute drive in silence. As we pulled up to the doctors office I started to get out of the car when Harley stopped me. " No I've got this... Jase is on his way. He left the café early." JASE. SHE INVITED JASE. "You told him to come after he kept telling you that you're a whore and it isn't his? He said he wouldn't pay a dollar for this child because he was POSITIVE it wasn't his." I said firmly. "I talked him into coming... I didn't know how to tell you. You can leave if you want." I shook my head in disbelief. "I'll stay until he gets here... Once he's here... I'm gone." She smiled and threw her arms around my neck. "Thanks Liam. I always knew I could count on you." She cried as she dug her head into my shoulder. "Come on, let's go in." I said grabbing her arm and leading her in. We walked up the front desk and signed a lined piece of paper. "Sir, I'm going to need some of your information, as well as the mothers." I turned back to look see Harley reading a parenting magazine and rubbing her barely showing stomach. She'll be okay... she'll be a great mother. I shouldn't worry about Harley, she always works everything out. "Sir." The nurse said, snapping me back into reality. "Oh yeah. Uh, I'm not the dad... he'll be here shortly." The nurse looked up and popped her gum. "Well sir, we need some information from the mother... if you don't mind." She passed me a clip board with a packet of paper work. "Of course." I scoffed. I went and chose a seat next to Harley. The same seat I sat in two years ago. "Here, fill out this paperwork." I said passing her the cli[p board and the pin from my shorts pocket. "You might want to go ahead and go Liam... Jase is almost here and I don't want you to be here when he arrives." She whispered staring at her shoes. "Sure." I said softly. I patted her knee, stood up, and left the waiting room. I walked to my car to see the same car Brooklynn hopped out of just a few hours ago. With the same douche bag sitting in the driver's seat that got my best friend pregnant.
