Kaila's POV

It's been three days since my first encounter with Kevin Gabe. Ever since then, I never stopped thinking about him. I never stopped thinking about the way his eyes sparkled. I can't stop thinking about how sweet his smile and laugh was. I can't stop thinking about how fragrant he was, I can't forget how handsome he looked. He's just so.. I don't know, mesmerizing? But, despite reminiscing stuffs like these that are too good to be true.. I can't help but feel guilty.

Guilty, because I am lying to my bestfriends. Well, not really lying. It's more like, keeping a secret. A secret that I know would cause big trouble. Knowing the fact that this thing will bring no good, I still can't stop hoping and wishing that Kevin Gabe is just out there, thinking about me like the way I think about him. This may sound stupid as hell, but I think i'm inlove with him. Or maybe, I just really like him. A lot. Or then again, this might be a simple infatuation. Ugh. I seriously don't know a thing about this.. If only Ericka and Selena knew, they'd probably help me out. But they can't.. They can't just know about this.. Yet. Aside from the fact that they'll be mad, Kevin Gabe is Mika's ex! Oh gosh, what have I gotten myself into?

*Ting*

My thoughts were disturbed when I heard a notification from my phone. Oh my gosh. It's a text from Kevin Gabe! I immediately opened the message. Finally! After three days of waiting for a text!

From: Kevin Gabe
Hey there, pretty girl. I missed you ;)

Oh my gosh. He just called me Pretty girl! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! Should I reply? Wait, what if I just call him? I miss hearing his voice! Wait, no! I'm too awkward. But, I really want to call him.. Wait, nevermind. I'll not reply muna. Kunwari busy! I was about to go back to the inbox but I accidentally pressed the small phone icon. Oh No! It's ringing! I accidentally called Kevin Gabe! I was just about to cancel it, when he answered.

"Hey. Di ko naman inexpect na tatawag ka agad. Missed me so much?" He said in a very flirty and, oh gosh, sexy voice.

"Uhm.. No, I accidentally pressed the call button. Sorry.." I said.

"Kaila?" He asked.

"Yeah. You texted me, right? And uh, I was about to reply but I accidentally pressed the call button. Sorry." I said.

"Oh, right. Sorry, I forgot. It took a while before you replied so I thought you were busy." He replied with an awkward chuckle. "Plus, I didn't expect you'd call me."

"Really?" I said. "How come you asked me if 'I missed you so much'? You sounded like you were expecting a call." I was messing with him, but he whispered something and sounded a bit tense.

"Oh, I was expecting a call from my cousin din kasi. I texted her as well kasi, wanted to catch up with her sana." He replied. I laughed a bit and said, "Well, for a cousin you sound really flirty."

"Yeah, everyone says that too. They say I sound flirty, that's why others mistake me for being a fuckboy."

"So, are you saying you're not a fuckboy?" I asked. Not that I wanted to offend him, I just want to be sure.

"No, i'm not. Do I even look like one?" He replied. I remained silent. I want to believe that he isn't, but by the way he looks and he moves, he sure is one. "Well, it's okay. I understand. People always judge with their eyes, but not with their hearts. That's why only few people know the difference between reel and real." He added with a chuckle. I kind of felt guilty for making him feel like I was judging him.

"Hey, it's not that i'm judging you or anything. Just, well. Wanted to be sure. I'm sorry." I said. I heard him chuckle, "Hey, no apologies needed pretty lady. I'm used to it. So, do want to hangout this afternoon?"
