Ericka's POV

It's Monday already and i'm currently driving on my way to AIU. I'm so bored, lalo na't wala akong kasabay pumasok ngayon. Umuwi kasi ako sa Bulacan nung weekend to visit my Grandma, kaya wala akong kasabay. I offered to pick Selena up at her Condo sa Ortigas, but she declined. I asked Kaila too, but she didn't even reply to my message. This weekend, I barely talked to her and that's a first! Dati, kahit pa busy siya sa school works or kahit na may family gathering sila, nagpaparamdam siya. Ngayon? It's as if she's a stranger. Bihira magpakita, magparamdam. I have this feeling na she's hiding something from us, I just don't know what. I tried not to think about Kaila and focused on driving. Hay nako! Umagang umaga traffic nanaman sa EDSA. I took my phone and connected it to my bluetooth speaker. I might go crazy if it's too quiet! I'm so bored right now, bakit ba kasi 'di ko pinilit si Selena sumabay sakin? I was playing music when I heard a notification from my phone.

Text message from DOUCHE 6:21 am

Oh great! Simula nanaman ng panggugulo niya sakin. I ignored his text message and nakinig na lang sa music. Nagulat na lang ako nag sunod-sunod na notifcation ang natanggap ko from that dumb arse. Oh my gosh, he's flooding me with nonsense text messages and it's annoying as hell! What the heck is his problem? Umusad ng konti ang traffic so pinaandar ko muna ang sasakyan ko bago magreply.

Me: wth is your problem? I'm driving!

Epal talaga 'to. Ugh. I hate you, Matthews! I really do.

DOUCHE: Hi :)

Me: Are you serious?? You flooded my inbox for a 'hi'?! Are you like a psychopath??

DOUCHE: Maybe 😁

I ignored his last text message and focused on driving. Thank God, he didn't text me after his last message. Finally! I have found inner peace. A few minutes after, I was only two streets away from AIU when my phone rang.

DOUCHE calling..

I immediately rolled my eyes upon seeing who the caller is. What does he want this time? I pressed the answer button. Baka pag 'di ko sinagot call niyo, pikunin ako lalo.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Aww. Is that how you greet the love of your life, munchkins?" He asked in his teasing voice. Seriously! If AIU didn't teach me manners and good conduct, I would've strangled the shit out him!

"Will you please stop doing the endearments? It's disgusting." I said. "Bakit ka ba tumawag?"

"Look at your left." He commanded. Napataas naman kilay ko. Who does he think he is? My boss? I rolled my eyes but looked at my left.

"Oh? Ano meron sa kaliwa ko?" I asked.

"What do you see?" He replied. What do I see?

"Uhmm, a black sports car." I answered. I was surprised when the person inside rolled the window down— Wait! Is that..

"ALEX?!" I said, surprised. What the heck?

"Hi, Pumpkin. Didn't expect to see you here." He said over the phone, then I saw him lower down his shades and give me a wink. Kadiri! I just rolled my eyes at him and ended the call. I focused on driving since I saw the entrance of AIU already. Bakit ko ba nakasabay yung guy na yun— ay gosh! I forgot na he studies at AIU din, although he's from the mixed division. Which is, katapat lang ng campus ng AIU girls division. Am I that unlucky to the point na naka-sabay ko pa siya? Gosh. I ignored the thought and parked my car. I glanced at my reflection sa rearview mirror. Okay, i'm still pretty.  I smiled. Don't let bad vibes get in your way, Ericka. He's just a tiny little shit, trying to ruin your day. I took my things and proceeded to the building.
