Grace's p.o.v-
After going threw quite a majority of muggle music from Bruce Springsteen and Billy Idol to Black veil brides and Automatic Love Letter I looked up to see that Hermione and Ron had both gone.

Probably to change into their robes, I had no clue how long would be left of the train ride so I decided for it to be wise to ask Harry who was still sitting next to me though now in his Gryffindor robes. Putting my headphones on my neck I tapped Harry on the shoulder gently he turned to me with a small smile "sorry but I was wondering if you have any idea how long is left of the train ride?" I asked shyly, scratching the back of my neck.

"It shouldn't be that long probably 30 minutes." As soon as he said that Hermione and Ron came back both dressed the same as Harry. "Thanks" I said quickly. I was done listening to my music so I left the headphones around my neck and stared out the window at the large lake we were passing.

I sensed tension around the room and I looked back to see the three of them exchanging glances. Finally Hermione looked at me and said "sorry Grace but we were just wondering what house your in? Since we haven't seen you around school before."

I could tell she knew that I had never attended hogwarts but it was natural to want answers for my random attendance of the school. "Oh well I don't have a house not yet at least, I'm new here.. I guess" I said shyly once again and I let my long side fringe cover left eye slightly as I looked down in embarrassment. "You are our age though right?" Ron asked curious also. Scratching my neck again I sighed "yes I was supposed to start hogwarts the same year as you guys". "How come you didn't then?" Asked Harry also joining the conversation "Oh, just... Reasons." I said quickly as I looked around the small cabin trying to find anywhere to look but in their eyes.

Hermione was about to say something but I cut her off "um sorry I just need to use the restroom" I chuckled awkwardly and hurriedly walked out of the cabin and to the restroom which I knew would be at the end of the hallway. I felt bad but I can't openly go around saying how brutal the relationship with m parents was. That's just how it is.

Hermione p.o.v-
"What do you think that was about?" Ron asked as soon as the door had shut behind Grace. "I don't know" said Harry dumbfounded.

I sighed at there stupidity. "Honestly Ron, your father works in the ministry and you know nothing about the Jenkins" I really couldn't believe their lack of knowledge. "No, father mentions them a bit but never about them why?" Ron asked curious, Harry also looked at me curiosity shown over his face.

I squirmed uncomfortably in the seat, it wasn't really a pleasant matter, but if I was correct then Grace had been through a great deal. "The Jenkins are elite members of the Ministry of Magic and there family is famous." I said trying to avoid the matter that I brought up, I must say it was a dumb move on my part. "Famous how?" Harry asked curious still. I sighed again "The Jenkins are a long family line of powerful Slytherin wizards and witches. They are known for there cruel nature and brutal punishments to simple crimes in the Ministry."

Harry and Ron both looked shocked. "Hermione you mean to tell us that the shy girl who has been sitting with us for the past 2 hours, is meant to be a Slytherin and cruel." Harry asked shock still evident in his voice and expression. "I'm surprised that Grace is there daughter she's sweet, you can also see she isn't faking if anything she'll fake being cruel. I don't know how she'll be put in Slytherin" I said and I was actually, genuinely scared for her.

Her parents were the most brutal of the entire family, her mother would smile at crying prisoners as they were sent to Askaban and then her father would send innocent people to Askaban! Jenkins were respected because they believed in justice when it was not needed they didn't interfere but Grace's parents were known for just sending anyone into harsh punishments and laugh. It was truly sickening.
