After three days

Word after word that followed from his lips angered me more by the second. My patience was running out and my temper was flaring. Rage boiled through my body. I barely had a chance to think of my actions. The only thought running through my head was getting him to shut up. 

I pursed my lips and raised my hand back. I threw my hand forward as hard as I could, whipping it across his face. Vibrations of pain started in my palm and spread all the way to my finger tips. Antonio stared at me with with his eyes wide as his hand slowly made it to his fire red cheek. My eyes started to water. I could not believe my own action but instead of feeling some kind of remorse, I felt kinda relieved. Nico came running towards us while Chloe looked at me, open mouthed. Jeff was returning from his history class and when he saw the large gathering he  joined in unaware of the whole scene which I created in a matter of seconds. There was a long silence between me and Antonio. All I could hear was the students murmuring something to one another. Most of them were confused like Jeff and they repeatedly kept on asking the others, what actually happened.

I couldn't stand more of it so I took a deep breath and shouted at the top of my voice, 'I'll never love you. Never. You killed Eliza...you played with her heart..and now you want to play with me, just the way you did with Jeff's sister. What do you think of yourself? that any girl might fall for you. No. Remember, you'll never win my heart. Never.' I couldn't speak more. My lips were trembling. It was enough and also the end of it all. I stood there staring at the ground. My vision was blurred due to the tears which started dripping continuously. I knew what I did was right but I was scared. Fear took over me. 

After the night he proposed me, he never stopped hitting on me. Sometimes he would sit aside me in the canteen and squeeze my hands while talking. He managed to give me surprises almost everyday. Most of my friends assumed that I was in a relationship. One day as I was busy talking with Nico he joined us too, suddenly he touched me putting his hand up on my top which went further down. Today, while I was walking towards the washroom he came and blocked the passage. He wanted to get an answer, he wanted to know if I had some feelings for him and when I said, I didn't he got offended. He pinned me to the wall saying, 'You never know what a guy actually can do when he wants to.' and that was it. I pushed him away from me and started to yell. Chloe heard me and came running towards us, that was when I did something unexpected. 

'You better be careful, girl. Things are going to get worst.' Antonio blurted out angrily. I froze for a moment. I was now convinced that he's up to no good. I knew at that very moment that whatever I did was not actually right. With fear on one hand and anger on the other I ran towards the rest room, away from the crowd. I could hear Chloe calling after me. 

'Sarah, what's the matter?' she asked softy. I stood up from the chair and hugged her tightly, 'I should've said everything to you but I didn't' I cried on her shoulder. Chloe was always better to stay with, during the tough times. She's the only good listener whom I've ever met, she's the only person who understands me better. 

'What?' she hugged me tighter, rubbing my back reassuringly.

I explained everything to Chloe in between my sobs. She listened to me with great patience. After I finished I broke down entirely. She rubbed my tears with her fingers, 'Its okay bunny, do not cry. You don't worry girl! He'll never think of doing anything to you ever again, I'm here with you!' 

Her words gave me a little hope but I knew that things might change at any moment!
