Aria started blankly at the corpse of the woman who had been paid by Bartholomew to kill them. Needless to say, Luna and Aria were livid. "What now?" Luna asked, voice deathly calm. Aria closed her eyes. "Well, I'm going to have a quick snack, and then, we're going back to have a "chat" with him." Aria said, opening her eyes. Her eyes turned yellow as she grinned.
The door slammed open, all members taking a second to look at the doorway. They all scampered off once they saw the murderous aura emanating from the duo. The two stalked towards his office. Aria knocked on the door, Luna right behind her. "Enter." His voice called, muffled from behind the door. The two entered, his grin slipping slightly and his eyes darkening. "Ah, it's good to see you two made it back." He said, though it was obviously fake. "How did it go?" He asked, tilting his head a bit. "Oh it went splendid." Aria said, grinning as she pulled out one of her daggers. "Though we can't say the same for Alex." Luna said, shutting the door and locking it. His eyes widened, his body going rigid. "L-look, I can explain-" "There is not a thing you could say that could get you out of the storm you just unleashed." Aria growled, and in one swift move, the desk was thrown across the room, the chair overturned, and Bartholomew on his back as Aria hovered over him, foot on his chest. "P-please, have mercy!" He begged, fear lacing his tone and in his eyes. "Aw," Aria chuckled. "Wasn't it you who taught us to never show mercy?" She asked, raising the dagger over her head and bringing it down, ending someone's life for the final time.
"Breaking news! Over the past thirty years, hundreds of children have gone missing and hundreds of people with ties to an unknown association had been killed. However, at exactly 3:47 a.m., the police received an anonymous call telling them the location of the organization that had been kidnapping children and raising them to be killers. The person who called the police was not found and three people have gone unaccounted for. All of the adults who were willingly associated with the association were arrested and the children were put into psychological evaluation-"
A finger swiped the news broadcast off the phone. "I was watching that." A cloaked figure murmured, glaring halfheartedly at her comrade. Her companion only grinned, but it faltered after a few seconds. "So what now?" Aria asked, stretching as she watched the rising sun. "Well, we try, for once, to do the right thing and help others. Most importantly, not make the same mistake again." Luna replied, glancing over to her friend. Aria smiled, her first true smile in a long time, and nodded. Luna smiled back, glancing back to the sunset. A branch snapped behind them, making the two whip around. Aria drew her daggers as Luna drew her revolver that she had stolen from Bartholomew's safe. Another cloaked figure approached. "Who the heck are you?"
