It was another Monday morning. I had to go to work again. My alarm clock was making my headache worse. I got th darn thing and turnedd it off.

I made my way to the bathroom to start my daily routine. As I made my way out of the apartment. I was greeted by the land lord.

"Oliver, when are you going to pay your rent? You're overdue by three months. If you don't pay by next week, I'll have to evict you."

"I'm sorry, I'll pay you by Friday." I answered her.

"You better." She said before going back to her apartment and slamming the door.

I ran to the bus stop but was too late. The bus was already moving. I cursed out loud and got a few stares from people nearby. I didn't actually care. My boss will be furious again.

I decided to run on my way to work since I didn't have enough for a cab ride.

I had to stop halfway because I was out of breath. Suddenly, I heard gunshots. I quickly got on the ground. I realized that masked men were coming out of a bank.

After they left in their get away car, I made my way to the bank to look if anyone was hurt. I was about to open the door when a big explosion knocked me back. I flew back and landed on the hood of the car. I was sure my back was broken because my whole body was aching.

I heard the sounds of sirens coming closer. People came to my aid and loaded me into an ambulance.

When we reached the hospital, they rushed me thru the emergency room and I was examined by a doctor.

"We need to stop the bleeding and stitch him up. Get him to the..." Were the last things I heard from the doctor before I passed out completely.
