I was about to get ready to go to sleep when suddenly, there was a loud boom that was followed by a siren blaring out.

Gunshots soon followed. I ran out to see what was happening.

I heard people shouting, telling others to get to safety. I followed a group of people following a man giving orders to them. I soon realized the man was John.

I ran to him and asked "What's happeneing?" He was about to answer when suddenly a loud crash startled both of us.

He ran towards where the sound came from. I followed him, doing my best to keep up. We got nearer to a group of people shooting into the distance. I saw Jules trying to get a man out from under a fallen wall. I ran towards her.

I helped her get the man out. Sadly when we got him out, his left leg was wounded. She took a First Aid kit from her bag that I hadn't noticed. She did her best to stop the man's leg from bleeding.

We were both startled when a scream was heard. My head snapped to see what was making the horrid sound. I was met with the most horrifying thing I could have seen in my life.

A creature, that was almost seven feet tall with claws for hands and a head with giant eyes, came out from the fog.

It was using one of it's claws to protect it's eyes from the gunshots. The other took hold of a car and sent it flying towards the people shooting at it.

I don't know how but somehow, I was able push three people out of the way before the car hit them. I took one of the shotguns that were abandoned at the back of a truck and started to make my way towards the creature.

I don't know what came over me, I suddenly had a quick burst of adrenaline and an urge to shoot the creature.

As I made my way towards the creature, people were shouting for me to "get back and get away from that thing". When I was a few feet from it, I started to use the shotgun, shooting at whatever I thought could be a weak spot. It made the creature angry and start waving it's claws at me, trying to stop me.

As if time slowed down, I saw one of his claws coming towards me. I made a quick dodge and he missed me. I got up and started to shoot his claw, hoping it would slow him down. Thankfully, it did. But to my dismay, he let out another loud scream. Hoping to stop him, I shot his head. The shot made contact and made the creature fall instantly. I soon realized that was the last shell.

I made my way back to the others, but suddenly I started to feel dizzy and my vision began to blur. I blacked out as soon as I got six feet near the crowd.
