19 An Unlikely Helper

Setting : Town center

"Sorry!" Bee apologized after bumping into someone else, realizing that she was so used to being accompanied everywhere she went. She finally realized that she had no idea how to navigate the streets, at least she knew where to find the church. Just on the hill, that's where she was heading.

"Well look here fellas! It's a young lassie, and she's all alone." She heard a man call, Bee began walking faster hoping the voice wasn't talking to her. She was almost away from where she heard the voice when she hit the chest. She lifted her head to see a man who looked to be in his 30's. 

"Sorry sir." She said quickly turning around to head in a different direction only to hit another chest. She looked up only to see she was surrounded by men who looked to be 30 to 40ish. 

"Excuse me." Bee quietly said, trying not to sound too scared. 

"Where are you off to doll?" The original man said getting closer to Bee.

"Nowhere that concerns you." She said boldly. 

"Well if your on your own, I'ma guess your off to find some corner. Right men???" He yelled making his friends laugh. Bee instantly thought of Dylan, he said it was dangerous out here and he was right. 

"Let me save you the trouble doll, I'll give you 20 pounds right now for time with ya. What do you say?" He crookedly smiled showing off his yellow and missing teeth. 

"No sorry." Bee said trying to walk past him just to have him grab her waist and pull her back into him. 

"Okay let me you how about I add ten more pounds to the original deal?" He asked holding on to her really tight. 

"No" Was all she could say, too scared to say anything else. 

"Aww come on doll, let me see whats under that cloak." 

"No! I said no!" She cried.

"I DID'NT ASK WHAT YOU SAID!" He screamed smacking her.

"HEY! Whats happening here?!" A different voice asked making the man and his gang stop.

"Nothing that concerns you mate." The man said to the young boy who approached them. He looked to b only 16 or 17, yet he struck fear into the men's faces.  

"Oh but it does MATE. This young lady said no or have ya gone deaf since our last meeting?" He asked with a strong voice. 

"Mate she was off to some corner like the other whores , I was just offering her a job here."

"Sam let go of the girl." He demanded with such authority.

"Oh! Of course, of course." Sam quickly let go of Bee backing up with his friends. How could one boy strike so much fear to grown men?

"Scurry off now and Sam next time I catch you on my turf your dead!" He warned Sam as he and his friends ran away. 

"Are you okay Ma'm?" The man who just saved her life asked. 

"Oh yes, thank you good sir. I am forever in your debt." She thanked. 

"Of course... What is your name Ma'm?" He curiously asked thinking that she looked familiar. 

"Its uh Bianca." She told him quietly. 

"Oh well your welco- wait Bianca! Your a Bum-" He started shouting before she threw her hands in his mouth.

"Shhh! Please not so loud." She begged.

"OHHH, yeah. Uh men go on ahead, I'll catch up soon." He told told the group of boys he head behind him that she hadn't even noticed. 

"What are you doing here? Alone? Oh i have to inform the authority." He rambled.

"Please don't i need to get the church!" 

"On the Kiiings day? Are you crazy?" H exclaimed. 

"Look I need to apologize to someone and I know its crazy bu-" 

"Apologize to Will I know."

"Wait you know Will?" Bee asked now putting her full attention on the stranger. 

"Yea, yea. Where great friends. Blah, blah, come on I'll get you to the church safely." He smiled grabbing her hand and pulling her with him. 

"Why are you helping me?" She curiously asked.  

"Trust me the guys a mess." 

"Well thank you for all your help... Whats your name anyway?" She giggled realizing she was letting some stranger help her and she didn't even know his name. 

"The names Joe, now lets go!" He laughed as they ran up the hill to the church.

Lollll also wanted to say when i was writing the abuser I was just freely doing that when I wanted to give him a name. But I couldn't give any of the cube guys that tittle so I gave it to a guy who deserved it. (SAM PEPPER) Also he did ask to join the cube so its okay :)
