"I know, I know." Bee said adjusting her cloak in the mirror.
"Today's the Kiing's day of prayer, Bee! If you get caught yo could get arrested! Not to mention MORE bad blood between your family's!" Dylan warned her.
"Look hes ignored all my letters and invites. I have to talk to him and if he wont come to, Ill go to him." She stated.
"Look I'm all in favor for you, uh making your own density but if ANYONE sees you, a young lady without a male by your side, they'll inform the authority! You could get in a lot of trouble Bee!"
"That's why your coming with me."
"What? Now I know you've lost it, do you know what will happen to me? I could lose my job! If YOU get caught they'll send for your father and send you home with him. But if I'm seen I could get killed on sight!" Dylan exclaimed, he wanted to help his best friend, of course but was HER romantic life worth his life? His anger soon started to boil realizing how selfish Bee had been the last couple weeks with him, putting him in so much danger, for what a boy who was probably going to get them both in trouble? Not anymore, he thought.
"Are you saying you wont help me?" Bee questioned him feeling upset, didn't he know how much making up with Will meant to her?
"Bee you have a FIANCE who's basically in love with you, he would marry you right now if you'd let him! You could finally rule over the Bumbles like you destined for, why would you throw that away for some boy who doesn't want to see you, hear from you or be with you?!?" He furiously yelled at her, not understanding what more she could want from her life, she had everything!
"Dylan have you not been listening to a thing I've said to you my WHOLE life! I don't want Jordan, I don't want to rule the Bumbles!" She screamed shocked she spoke that loud to the guy who was suppose to be her best friend, she quickly calmed her self before speaking again.
"I messed up and I know I should just give up and live happily ever after with Jordan, but I can't. Will gives me a feeling that I can't ignore, I tried I just can't!Its like he planted a seed in my heart and everyday it grows more and more but with out him it wont blossom. I cant let this feeling go without seeing how beautiful the flower can be. Jordan a great guy but my heart won't let me love him, I can't and I won't, I'm done trying too."
"Well count me out, I'm done risking my life for you." He spat leaving the room dramatically.
"Fine, I don't need you anyway!" She yelled at him as he left, she angrily checked her cloak in the mirror one last time before grabbing the note on her night stand. She quickly left her room and scurried down the stairs to her fathers office. She ran in setting the letter on the desk exiting right after she did. She headed towards the door slowly, looking behind her one more time before taking a deep breath and pulling her hood up before taking her first steps outside by herself.
