Kaitlyn's POV
"My name is Maddie, Maddie Night," she said softly.
"My name is Kaitlyn Nightangle," I said, where only she could hear. "That's my real name, anyways. I tell people my name is Kaitlyn Fury."
"Why?" she asked.
"My tribe banished me for being a dragon shifter," I whispered.
We both perked up when we heard footsteps. I let out a low growl.
"Don't growl, dear. It's just me," said Dagur. "I didn't come to see you. I came to see miss Night."
Hey Maddie don't do anything he says! If he threatens you, ignore it! I whispered in dragonese but I looked like I was cussing.
She nodded and turned to Dagur with a smile.
"Hello," she smirked.
Hiccup's POV
Everybody was getting on their dragons. Snotlout on the Monstrous Nightmare, Astrid on the Deadly Nadder, Fishlegs on the Gronckle, and the twins on the Hideous Zippleback.
I got on Toothless and we took off into the sky. We got into a v-formation.

Kaitlyn's POV
Maddie was doing good in her 'questioning' not telling him anything, while telling him everything.
He was getting mad. He slapped Maddie and walked out of the cell.
I didn't know you spoke dragonese! Maddie said.
I'm the dragon princess it's my duty to know the language of my subjects! I said. You're lucky! You only got a slap! I got slapped by a knife.
She gasped and looked at me.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Okay as a daisy," I said, smiling. She looked me up and down and saw the dried blood. "It helps when you're the princess of dragons because you get unspeakable strength."
She opened her mouth to speak but she was interrupted by a large explosion.
