~3rd Person (Titans)~

He just...came out of nowhere—Beast Boy

This strange man has put a stop to the evil Slade harming us. Is he to befriend us?—Starfire

Dude's got some game—Cyborg

Hmm...this energy feels strangely familiar to the one I felt three years ago—Raven

This guy could be dangerous. He stepped out of thin air just as Slade was going to kill us. No way can it be a coincidence—Robin

No! It can't be! There's no way he could have found me so quickly. It's impossible!—Slade

~Danny's POV~

I brought my hand up to his chest and let my energy pulse out of my palm and through his body, sealing his soul within the land of the dead, where he should have stayed long ago, so that he could no longer claw his way out again. I felt lighter than I have in years knowing that I had tied up a loose end that never should have came to be.

Turning back to this dimensions ¨heroes¨ that Clockwork and my father urged me to join. I have silently watched them progress from Clockwork's tower, reading their files before I was sent into their domain. I'd like to say that I wasn't impressed with their record, say that I had no interest in joining their little team of side-kicks turned heroes...but I can't. Because I am impressed and I do want to join them. And, should I feel they needed it, I would step in and offer them my help.

If there was ever a more important time to help, now would be it. I thought with amusement dancing in my eyes. The fun part, I think, will be when Raven finds out who I really am. Robin, I'm sure, will be troublesome to dance around, but I'll just endure it since I can always just ignore him and find a way to work around him and any obstacles he may throw my way.

After all, I muse as the Titans cautiously approach, who can out-rule what Death decides? Especially at what Clockwork, master of time, oldest ghost in existence, both respects and fears most: True Death.

¨Who are you?¨ Robin demands.

¨That is irrelevant, all you need to know is that I am here to help you.¨ I say impassively.

Robin's eyes narrow beneath his domino mask.

¨Why should we trust you?¨ Raven cut-in before Robin could retort.

A small smile ghosted across my face before I disappeared,  leaving a single black and clear stone that sparkled with energy from within and a note that read:

¨Simply hold the stone close to your heart and whisper the word aliquis and I will be there. If you wish to summon me, hold the stone firmly in your hands and whisper the word aperio.
~D.¨
