"Get up Jordan, it's not that bad," Nathan complained trying to pull me to my feet dodging the flying balls.
"I think- I'm dying," I was lying flat on the floor while gasping for air. I winced when a ball hit me on the leg.
"Well you're out anyway," Nathan smirked. "Just go sit on the sidelines, before you're hit again."
"Jordan!" Mia screamed from the other side of the court waving her arms around. "Get up and be a man!"
Upon hearing this, I sat up and glared at her. "I'll show you man." I muttered grabbing a ball.
I flexed my arm, took aim and caught Mia fair and square on the chest.
She looked shocked through the pain while I laughed my head off. Then something hard hit my forehead making me gasp in pain.
"Oh shit," I cursed rubbing at the burning area trying to eliminate the pain.
"Jordan cut the act, Mia doesn't throw that hard." Nathan grinned at me thinking it was just another one of my dramatic acts. He turned and loped away from me back towards the basketball courts.
"Jordan!" Mia called out I could see her biting her lip like crazy.
"I'm fine!" I yelled back reassuringly and tried to stand up. The world was getting a bit fuzzy. I wobbled around and was about to fall when someone caught me.
"Jordan?"
I groaned wishing I was only imagining that annoying beautiful voice that was so horribly familiar.
"You okay?" I opened my eyes and saw Trey still holding my arm to steady me. I avoided his eyes knowing they'll make me go all soft again.
"No, now go away." I tried pushing him away and landed on my butt.
He pursed his lips helping me stand back up. "Not likely, you need to get to the nurse."
"I don't wanna go to the nurse; she's going to give me shove a needle in me and I hate needles." I complained huffing loudly when Trey tried to pull me up with no luck.
Then the ground disappeared from under my feet and I wondered if I was dead. "Put me down, now!" I punched Trey's chest only to find it was a big mistake.
It felt like I pounded my hand against a huge boulder while Trey didn't even blink. I gripped my hand ignoring the looks I got from people as he made his way across the gym room.
I wondered why Nathan hadn't come to my rescue yet and his tall figure making out in the corner with some random girl answered my question. I saw Mia in the corner looking at us with a silly grin plastered across her face. Of course she wouldn't help I groaned out aloud catching more unwanted attention.
"This is embarrassing and unnecessary can you put me down! I can walk you know do I look like a quadriplegic?" I whisper yelled at him. I fought the urge to hit him again but it wouldn't hurt him only me.
So I hid my face in the crook of Trey's neck as I felt my face getting hotter. I knew Trey's fan girls were gonna give me hell for this later but if they couldn't see my face, they wouldn't know who to beat up. I grinned at my amazing logic then scowled as I remembered who was carrying me.
