What Happened That Night

It's the middle of winter break and my parents are out of town so we've all just been chilling at my house. We've had lots of snowball fights! Even inside.... whoops. My house is what you could say a somewhat modern mansion. You can see the living room perfectly from the back yard. Meaning the wall seperating the backyard and house is completely glass. But its a certain type of glass so it keeps the house insulated still. There are 10 rooms. Why you ask? Well many of my friends stay here for awhile instead of at their own houses. My parents are rarely ever home so they don't care. My mom travels around the world for her design company and my dad is a famous architect and is always out and about dealing with plans for people all around the world. Im left home alone a lot. I don't mind I've learned from a very young age how to do things on my own. No help to the 5 billion nannies I had. My friends parents have been my parents for the past 7 years. I'm 17 and Mason is 18. He stays at the house a lot but he has his own room. Literally it has half his clothes in it and his own bed desk everything! It gets creepy staying home alone all the time so when my friends can't stay he does.

Honestly we haven't done much. Even though he stays at my house a lot we don't do what normal teenagers do. We kind of act like a married couple without the sex and other stuff. I've never really been into that stuff. I'm the one who holds the parties and stuff but I don't do all the stereotypical teenager stuff. I just don't want to be another one of those girls.

We had just finished watching The Conjuring and I was scared. I swear I almost pissed my pants like 20 times during the movie. Of course I got talked into watching it cause I HATE scary movies with a passion. But everyone wanted to watch it so I didn't want to be "that friend" so I went and found it and put it on in the theater room. All the girls screamed and I could've sworn I heard some girly boy screams too. We cleaned up the popcorn that had been thrown around from us jumping out of our seats and went down stairs. Once down we made hot cocoa, pancakes, and cookies. Yes a wierd combo but thats us. We're not the popular group, or the nerdy group we're inbetween. The cookies and pancakes were done and we all chowed down and went to the living room and turned on the tv. First it was the news channel.

Broadcaster: There is expected to be a snow/ice storm tonight and all roads will most likely be closed tomorrow.

We all look at each other and smile. Looks like we have more of a reason to stay together longer.

"OMG Kale STOP!" I laugh/yell out as he tickles me and throws me over his shoulder.

"Neverrrrrrr" he exclaims. Kale is my boyfriend of 2 years. He is stubborn but smart, he has brown eyes, brown hair, and a little bit of freckles on his nose. He plays varsity soccer and so do I.

My friend Jay and her boyfriend Mason are here but she is meeting me up in the front yard in a bit. Also Rose and her boyfriend Hunter, Lauren and her boyfriend Will, Bella and her boyfriend Jake, Lila, Haley and Kinley. They were all inside cause it was too cold. I was getting a little too warm inside and wanted to cool off outside. I threw on a sweatshirt and some shoes and Kale, Jay, and Mason had followed behind. The rest just sat there skipping through the channels. We all know it was just cause they wanted to cuddle.

I started to fake cry "I just want to be let down"

"Aw im sorry babe" he lets me down. The second he does I punch him in the stomach and run away as fast I can. "Hey no fair come back here!" he yells after me. I eventually catch up to my friend Jay.

"Ready to do this?" I ask panting.

"Yes!" We grab the supplies from behind the bushes and set up the best prank that has ever been performed on this earth!

That was a year ago....

Well I decided to write again after having my other book deleted :'(
