Texting Luke Hemmings

Ash's POV:

Arizona was beautiful, but very hot. I could feel the moisture from the humidity on my skin. I followed the guys into the black SUV waiting for us. Thank God the air was blasting in there. I climbed in and settled into a seat next to Luke. We had an hour drive to get to the hotel, so we passed the time by playing games. Then Luke decided to pull out chips, Michael freaked out and grabbed one end of the bag. It ripped and chips flew out all over the place, a majority covering me. I just sat there with an un-amused expression on my face. Luke started to laugh as he picked chips out of my hair and ate them. I slowly turned towards him and grabbed a chip throwing it at him. The man driving us warned us that this is a rental car and to act mature.

After what seems like forever we finally pulled up to the fancy hotel. Luke looked at me, "I requested the hotel with the deep pool and slides." I smiled, "I love swimming, we should go tonight." He nodded, "We aren't busy tonight so we can hit the pool till twelve, since it closes at midnight." We unloaded everything and walked to our rooms, we all had separate rooms. My room was in between Ashton's and Luke's. It had a balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape of Arizona, a flat screen TV, and a really nice bathroom. The bed was a queen sized. Just then there was a knock on my door. I threw my purse on the bed and ran to the door, tripping on my luggage as I did. 

I opened the door where Luke was standing in front of me, "Hey we are heading down to the pool, meet you there?" I nodded, "Yeah let me change and I'll meet you down there. And my best friend lives in Arizona about fifteen minutes away. She loves you guys is it okay if she joins us on tour?" Luke smiled, "The more the merrier!" I laughed, "Good because she already packed all her clothes and stuff and just got here." He looked surprised but then smiled and walked down to the elevator. My best friend walked over a minute later, "Hey! Do you have two beds in your room?" I nodded and let her in, "I was just about to unpack all my stuff, we are staying in Arizona for about two weeks, so I'm only hanging and putting a few clothes in the closet and dresser." She nodded and did the same, then put her other suitcases in the other corner. 

I picked out two swimsuits, "Hey Elena, which one should I wear." She walked over and looked at both. The first was a two piece, where the top had ruffles and was a pullover no clips nothing, and the bottoms were shorts. The second was a red one piece that said lifeguard. She looked at me, "Go with the two piece and since the top doesn't clip, you don't have to worry about it falling off." I nodded and quickly changed in the bathroom, when I was done she changed. I grabbed my cover up dress and she grabbed her shorts since her swimsuit was a one piece.

We both walked downstairs and I used my key card to open the door. We walked towards the lawn chairs and set our towels and cover up's on them. We walked to the nine foot area where the guys were splashing and messing around. I dipped my foot in, but quickly pulled it out. I looked at Elena, "The water is freezing!" Luke swam over, "Come on, don't be a baby!" I sat on the edge soaking my feet in, but Elena jumped in somewhat splashing me. I screamed, SERIOUSLY?" She emerged and shrugged her shoulders before swimming to Luke and whispering something in his ear. He smiled and told Ashton. Luke grabbed his goggles and I knew what was coming so I pulled mine over my eyes. 

Luke grabbed my legs and pulled me into the pool. We both sank and looked at each other he smiled and I glared at him. I went up for air and climbed out. I walked over to the tallest slide and climbed the ladder, I slid down and hit the water. I emerged, "That was so much fun." After a few hours midnight came and it was time to head back to our rooms for bed. We had to get up for breakfast. We all trudged to the elevator where I stood next to Luke and talked with him. I also noticed Ashton was taking quite an interest in my best friend. 

We walked back to our rooms and I could finally talk with Elena alone. "So do you like Aston?" She looked at me wide-eyed, "Maybe!" I smiled an evil smile, "You do and I have his number, I can hook you guys up!" She lunged at me, "You better not, I swear it won't be pleasant." I threw my hands up in surrender, "Okay! I won't!" She looked at me evilly, "What about you and Luke? How did you meet one of the most famous bands ever?" I looked at her, "He texted me a joke and I blocked his number, not really paying attention to what it was. I was trying to get your number since I had lost my contacts, your's was the last to get. I couldn't remember what the very last digit was so I guessed. I guess you could say it was the wrong text to the right person." 

"We talked for a while and kind of became friends. Then I got your number, me and him have been talking for a month now. I even got to meet him at their concert. Then a few weeks later he invited me on tour." She nodded, "Well I'm glad you invited me, I really love Ashton." She clicked the lamp off and we fell asleep.

When I woke up, I checked my phone. There were ten unread texts from Luke:

Hey Cutie we are at breakfast meet you down there.

Cutie? Where are you?

They are closing up!! Hurry

We saved some food for you just text me when you get up:)

I'm up now, not that hungry. I'll just eat when we have lunch. Elena knows this really good pizza place:)

Okay

We changed and met the guys at the entrance. Luke took my hand which has become a thing now and we walked outside, ready to conquer the paparazzi. Since me and Luke were the first to come out they asked us most of the questions. We stopped to answer a few:

So Luke is this your girlfriend?

For right now she's just a friend, a really good friend

Then why are you holding her hand?

Because that's just what we do

Will you ask her out?

I have been considering it, so possibly, yes.

That's wonderful, who's that girl with Ashton?

That's her best friend, Elena, she really likes Ashton.

Will they consider dating?

I'm not sure, why don't you ask Ash.

They looked at me and I responded:

She talked with me last night, but being her best friend I'm sworn to secrecy until she gives me permission.

I see, can you tell us how you feel about Luke?

Of course, I think he's a really sweet guy and yes I would consider dating, but right now I like being friends. 

The paps finally left us alone and we all piled into the SUV. Luke squeezed my hand, I had a feeling he really liked me.

Okay guys that's it for this chapter I hoped you liked it. I should possibly update another chapter later today. And I will try to update another chapter for Lost in Neverland, but I sort of ran out of ideas.
