Texting Luke Hemmings

Ash's POV:

When the movie was over, we walked outside and back to the parking garage. Luke drove back and finally pulled into our driveway. We walked inside to be greeted by Michael, "Guys, I ordered pizza!" I smiled, "Okay, sounds good." We all chilled out in the family room. Luke looked at everyone, "What movie should we watch tonight?" Ashton looked up, "I haven't seen the second Avengers yet, how about we watch that?" We all agreed to watch the movie after dinner. I ran upstairs with Elena and we changed into our pajamas. 

I laughed, "Elena I almost forgot to show Luke my dog." She laughed, "Yeah I was wondering when you would show him." I opened the door to my room and coaxed my black lab, Rusty, out of the room. He ran down the stairs and jumped right on the couch next to Luke. His eyes widened, "You have a dog? Why didn't you tell me?" I laughed, "With everything going on, I almost forgot!" He laughed and stroked Rusty's fur, "What's its name?" I smiled, "Rusty." He smiled, "Cool." 

I gently pushed Rusty out of the way, and snuggled close to Luke, Rusty snuggled his head on top of my lap. Everyone else picked their spots and we popped the movie in. 

When the movie was done Michael thought it would be hilarious to have a pillow fight. What he doesn't know is that I was a boss at that game, when I was a kid. Everyone grabbed a pillow and we nominate two team captains. I was one and Elena was the other. I had first pick, "I pick Luke." Elena smirked, "I pick Ashton." Luke whispered in my ear, "Michael is super amazing at pillow fights, pick him." I smiled, "I pick Michael." Calum walked to Elena's team and we walked to my basement. Once we were down there, I went to a closet. I smiled, "Pillows are for kids, keep the same team, but we will play with Nerf guns." Everyone smiled and I brought out six Nerf guns and put them in the middle of the room. They were all the same size but were pretty big.

I then dragged out the huge tub crammed full of ammo. We loaded our guns and put the ammo in the middle of the room, and explained the rules. "Okay, the whole house is play zone divided in half, upstairs is Elena's zone and basement is my zone, the middle section is neutral you can shoot at people in this zone. You can invade on others zones, and shoot at them but most likely you will get captured. When you capture someone take this rope, there's one for each team and tie them up. If no one rescues them before ten minutes is up then they are officially brainwashed and join that team, unless you capture them. The first team to capture all three members wins." 

Everyone nodded. I was so lucky we started this game before six, we could play all night since no one had work tomorrow. Elena headed upstairs, "Oh Elena, when you head upstairs, turn all the lights off, and here take these headlamps and utility belts to store the ammo in." She took the things and grabbed the ammo box placing it in the kitchen, and walked up the stairs. We put on our utility belts and headlamps and loaded our guns. We all huddled together in the basement's main room, "Here's the plan, if one of us gets captured the main priority to get them back before capturing the others." They nodded and we crept upstairs, "Lets try to get some more ammo to fill our belts, and turn off the light so they don't see us." 

I snuck towards the box and filled my belt's pockets and then grabbing enough for Michael and Luke. I slid the ammo towards Luke and Michael and then grabbed the small gun I had hid in the box. I saw a light and slid the small gun towards Luke who picked it up screaming, "Run!" But I got hit with a foam bullet in the shoulder, so I had to pretend to fall in pain. I screamed, "Luke don't turn around, I'm captured you and Michael have to help me." And then Ashton put my arms behind my back and tied them, putting his hand over my mouth. Elena led us upstairs to my room where I was hostage.

I did establish the rule where we can break free and run, and sometimes the other team would send them back down to their team undercover, to find out plans. Since we didn't have clocks we couldn't keep track of time so it would be the perfect time to do that." It had been five minutes, I had counted. I got the rope loose and grabbed my gun, slowly opening the door. I crept downstairs to find them gathering ammo. I shot each one in the shoulder, disabling them for five seconds. I made it into the basement and walked down to find Michael and Luke. I laughed, "I made it before ten minutes." Luke looked up and smiled at me, "Good we were just about to go rescue you."

It was hours and all we had done was capture two players from the opposing team, Calum and Elena. Ashton was a boss at Nerf wars and we had to capture him. I decided to go and do it just so Luke wouldn't mess up, plus I knew this house like the back of my hand. Since it was a huge house, we had huge tunnels in the walls and if the heat or air wasn't on you could crawl through them.  I had turned off my heater and air conditioner a long time ago, so I opened the huge grate in the basement and climbed up. Once I inched my way up, I looked at my house map. I had to go left to get to the grate in the living room, where Ashton was guarding our door. 

I peered out of the grate, there was a small wall and behind it was Ashton. I carefully pushed the grate out and quietly put it on the ground. Then I crawled out with my huge Nerf gun and carefully put the grate back. I inched around the wall and peered out, sure enough his back was turned against me. I quickly pulled back the lever to move a bullet in place and I shot him, right in the back. He turned around and pretended to slump against the wall. I grabbed his arm and led him down the stairs and telling his team we won. They groaned but were somewhat happy since it was three in the morning. 

We all trudged up the stairs and went to bed.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't published in a while, I've had a little writer's block when it came to finishing this chapter, but I have successfully finished it today. I'm having a little trouble figuring out what to do for the next chapter, so if you guys have any ideas please share in the comments. I will try to write more tonight or sometime this week, but since school has started I may have to write on weekends only. Please rate and I hope you have a good evening :) -fanficteen101
