Texting Luke Hemmings

Ash's POV:

I walked downstairs and started to make myself breakfast. I wondered what I was going to do today, until Luke charged down the stairs with Rusty, snapping me out of thought. I smiled, "Good morning Lukey." He walked over and kissed me on the cheek, "Good morning Cutie." I crossed my arms, "Its been so long since we kissed last." He smiled, "Sorry I was busy trying to rescue you during the Nerf war." He walked towards me and backed me against the counter. He lifted my chin up with his hand, "I guess I should reward the girl for escaping from the opposing team in a war." I giggled and he leaned forward gently kissing me on the lips. We continued for ten minutes, obviously taking air breaks, until the rest of our friends came down. 

"Ahem," Michael cleared his throat. Luke pulled away violently and twisted around till he was next to me. We both stared wide-eyed at our squad. They crossed their arms and raised their eyebrows at us. Ashton started laughing, "Finally you guys act like your actually dating!" I looked at Luke who broke out laughing. I smiled and finally started laughing, but I also noticed Elena who wasn't laughing. She looked at me, "Don't get too serious bro!" I looked at Luke who winked at me and then at Elena, "We won't Elena, we respect you and I know you don't want to loose your best friend, right bro?" She laughed, "Yes I'm glad you can read in between the lines!"

After we calmed down we went to the dining room and ate our pancakes. I looked at Luke, "Do you want to go into the city today?" He shoved a pancake in his mouth, "No I have something else planned for us." He smirked at me and I rose one eyebrow, "Oh really..." He nodded and continued eating. I looked at Elena who gave me that You promised look, I nodded and finished eating.

It was finally time for me and Luke to go. He looked at me, "Can I have your car keys, I need to drive." I nodded, "Sure, I guess." He smiled and we walked hand in hand to my car. When we finally got on the road, I turned the music up and we sang to the songs. We actually sounded pretty good singing together. We were on a road I hadn't done much traveling on. He finally pulled onto a old country road and drove to this hill in the middle of nowhere. We got out and climbed up the hill, and when we got there Luke had set up a picnic for us with a view of the country.

We sat down and started eating, when we were done the sun had started to set and the stars were out. We laid down on our backs with our hands under our heads and stared at them. Luke finally broke the calm silence, "I like the country, you can see the starts, unlike in the city where the light pollutes the sky."  I smiled, "I agree."

It had gotten colder and so I snuggled close to Luke and my head on his chest. But I must have fallen asleep, because I woke up by a bump. Luke was carrying me down the hill, and he put me in the car and buckled me in. Five minutes later he had grabbed everything else and was driving back home. I finally said something, "I woke up when you were carrying me I just loved it and I was too lazy to say anything." He laughed, "I could tell, and you were warm and I was cold so, good reasons." 

When we got home we went upstairs. I leaned against the wall by my room, "Goodnight Luke I'll see you in the morning." He nodded and leaned in kissing me on the lips, we did the same thing this morning till Ashton walked out and cleared his throat. Luke pulled away throwing his arms up in surrender, "Okay! Okay! I'm coming!" I kissed him on the cheek and walked to my room while he walked to his with Ashton. I finally drifted off to sleep thinking of him.
