Texting Luke Hemmings

Chapter 14

I had gotten many texts from the past few weeks. People were asking why me and Luke broke up even though we were the couple of the year. I sighed and tossed my phone onto my bed, "Sometimes I wish I wasn't so famous," I thought out loud. My phone got a text message from an unknown number. 

I picked up my phone and checked the text.

Hey 

Um, hi

I'm not sure if you know me...

Okay, no dip, who are you?

I'm in a popular band....

Please don't say One Direction, I only think Niall is nice....

What! No! I'm in the Vamps....

Ohhhh! I love that band...

Yeah, so we were thinking about adding another singer to the band, and you just dropped an album so we thought you might want to.

Okay, do you want to meet me somewhere so we can go over the schedules and stuff?

Of course, we are in New York for the next two weeks, would you like to meet at the park where the twin towers fell.

Sure, what time?

How about 2:30?

Sounds perfect, see ya in a few hours.

I jumped off my bed and went flying towards my closet. "Now what should I wear...."

I finally decided on blue shorts, a greenish blue crop top that had CA on it in sequins. I put on greenish blue sneakers and grabbed my blue backpack with cupcakes. I looked at  myself in the mirror, "Perfect."

I walked down the hallway and out the door. When I got outside, I planned my route. "Well, I'm close enough to walk since the buildings collapsed about a block from here...." I walked down to the path and headed towards the park and within five minutes I had arrived. 

I picked a table and sat down with my phone, waiting for the four guys to show up.  I finally saw four guys walking towards me. They sat down at the table, "Hey are you Ash?" I nodded and smiled. 

Brandon(second left^^) came up to me, "Hey I was the one texting you." I blushed and of course stuttered, "Oh...Um....Uh....Cool." He smirked, "And this is James (first left^^blonde hair). He smiled and shook my hand, causing us both to blush. 

Tristan, (the fourth guy) walked up to me and shook my hand, followed by Conner. After I had met all the guys we all sat down at the bench and talked. Brandon looked up at me with his blue eyes, "So what do ya say, will this schedule fit in with yours?" I smiled, "Hells yea!" James smiled, "We'd love to have you on our team, well me especially." I blushed and Brandon shot James a glare, "Same here James, same HERE!" Tristan and Conner both snickered in the back.

After that super awkward moment, a very red me got all the guys numbers, and created a group chat. I said goodbye and headed home. 

The second I walked into my door the group chat had already blown up.

B- Ha James you are totally IN LOVE with her!

J- Shut up, you weren't any different, you kept turning red when she talked to you!

T- You guys are both in love!

C- Hahaha;)

B- Go away

C- We kinda can't, we're all in a band together.

T- He's got a point mate, WE CAN TEASE YOU FOREVER!

J- Go away you idiots!

Uh, hey guys, did you forget I've currently been added to this chat and received all those messages...

C- Ohhhh now you BOTH are screwed, good luck getting her now;)

T- Yeah good luck guys.

B- Dang it!!!

J- ^^^^

Haha yeah, this just got very awkward...

T- Idk what your talking about, this is hilarious!!

C- I agree!!

J- Ohhh will you two just shut up!

Awww, well I think its kinda cute....

B- YOU DO?!

J- YOU DO?!

Uh yea, but it does kinda remind me of...of...

J- Of??

Of my last boyfriend... I am trying to move on from him though. He kind of did me dirty when he kept him leaving for a year from me.

B- Oh that sucks, was he famous?

Yes he was in the band 5SOS

J- Ohhh they're our rivals.....

B- Yeah, we haven't been the best of friends when it comes to the spotlight...But we would never tell our girlfriend that we were leaving for a little bit and then be gone for a year...

Yeah, he told me he would see me soon, I didn't think it would be a year! And Ashton told my best friend that he was leaving! But I'm over him, its been a few months....

J- That's just cold, I would never do my girlfriend that dirty... If I were leaving for a year, I would take her with me....

B- Same here...

T- Ha she's playing you both!

C- Omg, Tristan let's go make some popcorn!

T- Just to watch a flirt fest over text?

C- Why not?

T- True 

J- You guys suck

B- Now that I can agree on

Well I have to admit I was flirting a little....

B- AH HA!

J- I KNEW IT

T- OHHHH WHAT DID WE MISS!

C- OMG DID YOU READ IT, I CHOKED ON MY POPCORN!!

T- ME TOO!!

Anyways, I thought this was supposed to be a serious group chat...

B- It is, but we just all kind of get a little off topic.

J- Haha yeah, its true...

I can tell, but I think its fun....Not so serious all the time.

T- It's what we live for

C- Fun all the time, business later

Wow, great motto! But hey, I really need to go, I have to get ready for tomorrows meeting, when you guys introduce me as the other lead singer...

B- Right, well the limo will pick you up at around 12 tomorrow.

Okay thanks, bye now:)

I checked my beside clock, it read 12:45. "Dang, I really need to get to sleep." I walked into my bathroom took off my makeup, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. I headed to my bed and climbed in, my Great Dane, Sonic, trotted in to meet me. He was only 2 years old and already his max height of about 4ft tall. And if he stood on his hind legs he would be 7ft tall. 

He met me at my bed and looked at me with pleading eyes. I rolled my eyes, "Fine you can sleep with me." I patted the bed and he jumped up to the other side before lying down and snuggling close to me in my bed. I put my arm around him and turn my lamp off with my opposite hand. I went closer to him and he kept me warm the whole night. 

I slept pretty well, even though tomorrow is an exciting day....
