"Please dad?!" Seventeen year old Caley begged her dad.
"Caley! I already told you the answer." Her dad protested.
"Why can't I move back to Beacon Hills?! You've said it yourself I'm one of the most responsible kids out there! Derek really needs me! He said he would have a room ready to sleep in by the time I got there. Derek would protect me!" She yelled.
"How do I know Derek won't do "things" to you?!"
"Dad! You've known Derek his whole life. You trust him! He's basically my brother. You know he wouldn't do anything. You're just using that as an excuse and you know it!" Caley rolled her eyes
"Caley, I just want you to be safe. And I feel the safest place is with me." Her dad said.
Jonathan had always told Caley that they moved out of Beacon Hills because of his job. That was a lie. The truth was he didn't want Caley to grow up around all of the supernatural. He made Derek promise that no matter what he couldn't tell Caley that he and his family and others in the small town of Beacon Hills were supernatural. Derek promised Jonathan that he wouldn't tell her anything. And he never did. Caley was still clueless on all of the supernatural creatures.
"Dad," Caley walked up and hugged her dad," I'll be okay on my own. I promise. Derek will take care of me. Please. Please let me move back. "
"If I let you do this... You better call me every single day. And that's not an exaggeration. I mean every. single. day." He hugged Caley back. Caley backed up and looked in is eyes to make sure he wasn't kidding.
"Wait really?!"
"Well, I'll have to talk to Derek about it but like you said, you're one of the most responsible teenagers"
"OH MY GOD!!! DAD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!" Caley yelled. Jonathan laughed
        "Alright, alright. I love you too. Now, I have a phone call to make and you have packing to do. Go!" He smiled. When she left the room, it was a lot to process. He knew he could trust her, but what about all of the supernatural there? Could Derek always protect her? Jonathan knew Derek would but what if he didn't? He reached in his back pocket and sat on the couch and dialed the number. After three rings of the phone Derek answered.
     "Hello?" Derek answered.
     "Hey Der, I told her yes." Jonathan said
     "Yes to what?"
     "Yes to moving down there. Don't act like ever since what's his name, the Kanima," Derek always kept Jonathan in the loop of what was happening back in Beacon Hills.," but ever since the Kanima left, you guys have constantly been on the phone about her moving out there." He sighed.
     Derek chucked a little, he never really does smile anymore so it's kind of weird.
     "Okay. I have a question." Derek got serious again, like always.
      "What is it?"
      "You know that Caley is going to find out about all of us if she does move down here. I mean I can try to hide it as long as possible but all of the people I'm with, my pack, are werewolves. All the people she's going to be spending her time with, they are all supernatural." Derek explained to him
       "Yes. That's what I'm worried about. I don't want her to know unless she has to know." Jonathan blurted.
       "Okay. I'll let the pack know to keep her out of it for as long as possible." Derek sighed. It was hard to keep something this big from your "sister".
        "Oh, and Derek?" He said.
        "Yeah?" He replied.
        "Don't let her be alone way to long. Recently she's been really struggling with not having her mom around. You surely know what that's like. And you know she's really sensitive about her mom and brother being gone. And now that she's getting older, it's kinda like a crazy person on steroids." Jonathan chuckled at his little joke.
       "Oh yeah. I know all about how sad she can get. She's called me in the middle of the night on multiple occasions, crying, yelling, and all that because she was sad. I'll make sure she's not alone for long."
         "Thanks Der, I'll have her on a plane there by Wednesday." It's Monday.
         "Alright. Bye" and the line ended.
         "Who was that dad?" Caley walked in.
         "Just Derek. Letting him know that you're moving down there." He smiled
          "Oh okay" she smiled back and went back to packing.

                 ~~~ Wednesday ~~~
    Caley had her stuff packed and ready to go back to California, she had six bags with her. She would have to put her bags on a separate plane, that would arrive on Friday. Caley was very excited, but as much as she hated to admit it, she was kind of nervous. She was going to miss her dad a ton, but at the same time, she wanted to see someone she hadn't physically seen in nine years. She thinks a change would be nice. She was sitting on her uncovered, what used to be blue, bed when she heard a knock on her door.
    "You ready?" Her dad asked her.
    "Yeah I guess I am." She sighed. She was more nervous than ever. Her dad walked up and kissed her forehead and hugged her.
     "You know, you don't have to leave right?" He shed a single tear, her being gone was gonna kill him, but he knew being here wasn't good for her anymore.
      "Yeah, I want to go. I'm just gonna miss you. I love you."
       "I love you too honey." They stayed in their hug for a few minutes, shedding a few tears, until Jonathan pulled away.
        "You're going to miss your flight if we don't get going." He told her. She turned around and got her backpack that had a few thing she'll need, outfits, a few toiletries, the necessities, since her bags wouldn't be there till Friday. Then she grabbed a duffle bag and two big suitcases and let her dad get the rest. She walked out of her and her fathers apartment for the last time, walked to the elevator, pushed the button that led to the parking garage, then she walked to her fathers truck, put her bags in the back and got in the front seat and waited for her dad.
   ~~~ At the airport before she boards~~~

  They just called for her to board her plane. She hugged her dad for what seemed like not long enough, and got in line for her plane.
     "I love you so much dad. I'll call you when I land. I love you." She said
     "I love you too baby." And she got on her plane.
     Her flight was only about four hours, when she got off her plane she went to the pick up area and sat on a nearby bench, pulled out her phone and called both her dad and Derek to tell them she was in the very small Beacon Hills airport.
      An hour and thirty minutes. An hour and thirty minutes and Caley was still sitting on the bench, waiting for Derek. She called him three times. No answer. What the hell?! What is she supposed to do?
       About fifteen minutes later Caley gets a phone call.
