i come out of the bathroom and back to stella's car.
but i don't dee her car.
"stella?" i say.
a bald guy approaches me.
"are you ava?" he asks.
"yeah. who's asking?"
"me and your cousin told me to give you this note." he says handing me a yellow piece of paper from a pad.
he starts to walk back to his car.
i read the note.
it's written in stella's hand writing.
i scan the note again.
i can't believe it.
i take out my phone.
to the app i never use.

i never travel.
my parents never let me.
they only let me walk to ceci's house.
