Missing

Chapter 4

About 4 days had passed, it was hard to tell. Lily and I talked a lot, she told me about the evil scientist and how he was injecting the children with diseases then giving them cures he had made to see if they would work. She said most of them had failed and 5 kids had died already, she said the only others alive were Ashley and Mitchel.

I was so relieved to hear that they were still alive but sad to hear that 5 kids had died already, this had meant that the cures hadn't worked and I was hoping that they might have realised this and let us go.

Another few days past, I hadn't seen the scientist or any other person other than lily in a few days. We got 2 small meals passed under our doors each day but they didn't fill us up, we were starving.

One morning I heard talking in the room on the other side of me; I knew it was empty so I thought maybe they had abducted another kid. When everything was quiet again I went and looked through the little hole.

As I thought there was another child abducted, but what surprised me was what I saw when I looked closer. This time it was 2 boys who looked a bit younger than me maybe 13, they was sitting close to the wall. I called out to then; luckily they heard me and shuffled closer. "Who are you, what is this place, what do they want with us" one of them choked out in between sobs "shhh it's alright calm down, my name is Emily I have also been abducted, I have no idea what this place is, but I do know what they want with us" I replied then I told them everything I knew and that there were only three others alive, they told me their names were Jacob and Blake and that they were twins and were also 14.

2 more days had passed since I met Jacob and Blake ; I thought I was never going to get out of here. My door opened, it was the mad evil scientist, he walked in grabbed me and pushed me to his lab. When we got to his lab lily was there, he locked the door and made me and lily lie down on the beds.

He walked over to his draw and grabbed 2 syringes "now who wants to go first" he said before looking straight at lily "how about the littlest one" he said while smiling evilly. He was ready to insert one of the syringes when his phone vibrated and he dropped it.

He searched around for the syringe but I spotted it first, lily knew what I was going to do and she grabbed the other syringe he had put on the table and we stabbed the syringes into his arms.

"I can't believe we just did that" lily said while shaking "I know" I said while trying to open the door, I searched around for a way out for what felt like 10 minutes before lily said "it needs a special pass, he has one around his neck". she was right there was one around his neck I walked over and grabbed the pass from the scientists body, whatever was in those 2 syringes was killing him.
