Chapter 5

We opened the door and walked out making sure to not get seen, we knew we had to save the other 3 so we walked back to where our rooms were to get Jacob and Blake. We opened Their door and they had no idea who we were at first but when they realised they was surprised and happy. After we got then we walked the other way to find Ashley and Mitchel. We realised the doors had names on them so it was easy to find their doors.

We decided to go into Ashley's room first because we thought it might be easier since none of us knew Mitchell, I just hoped Ashley remembered me. We opened Ashley's door, she was sitting in the corner facing the wall. "Ashley" I said with tears rolling down my eyes "Emily" she said while turning around, I walked over and she stood up and hugged me. She asked me how I got here and how I escaped so I briefly told her before we got Mitchel.

We walked into Mitchel's room and Ashley walked over to him and explained who she was, who we were and what had happened. It turns out they were talking for the last few months through the hole in between their wall. We walked out of the room looking for an escape; we knew there were still other people around so we had to be careful to not be seen.

We saw a fire exit up ahead, it was our only escape but to get to it we needed to pass the room where we just saw some people walk into. We thought about how we would escape for about 5 minutes until Blake came up with the idea that 5 of us hide in the room nearby while the 6th person hits the fire alarm that was on the wall near the door then quickly runs into the room, then we wait for people to come rushing past before going through the fire exit.

We asked him how he knew they would come rushing this way and not through the fire exit and he told us that the people would go the other way to try and find the fire and save the mad evil scientist because they were his assistants. It was a risky plan but it was the best we had so we all hid in the room while Blake hit the fire alarm, he ran in the room and we saw about 20 people run past.

When the coast was clear we ran out the fire exit, we were free but we still needed to get home and none of us knew where we were. We figured out it was a few hours before midday from the position the sun was in. We started walking and after about 5 hours of walking we reached a town. But this wasn't just any town it was our home town.....

We realised this and we all started crying, we were happy we had escaped and we were almost home. I knew we were near my house I told them this and we agreed we would walk there and then we would sort out what to do from there. We walked down the streets and there it was my house, I walked up and knocked on the door.

My mum answered, she started crying, we both did no words were needed to express how happy we both were. We walked in and the others called their parents and were all reunited with their families.

We were all happy, we had escaped something that most people wouldn't be able to survive and we were all reunited with our families. All 6 of us and our families wanted to move out of this town and luckily my mum had enough money, this is where we were abducted and we wanted to do our best to forget that. We managed to make our parents agree to move to the same town because all 6 of us had been through the same thing and we had become friends, so it was a happy ending for most people.
