After figuring out the Host club members names and after a long two hours of Haruhi explaining which twins was which, the Host Club became a rather fun place to take me away from my troubles of my normal life.

Mori senpai was my designated host, and after we got Tamaki out from his emo corner (lord knows that boy sulks too easily) Mori got to hosting. Haruhi said it was odd really that I didn't designate both Honey and Mori since the two were often thought to be a packaged deal, but I knew that if I designated just Mori I would receive the quiet I needed for the day, without having the silence remind me of how alone I was. After all Mori would be sharing the silence with me.

Most days I brought along homework with me, and simply did that while Mori stared out the window. He liked sitting at the table near the window because it was closer to Honey's spot. That boy ate more cake then Mei did and she could very well be the poster child for cavities because of the amount of sweets she ate. Other days I found myself talking to the silent giant. He would nod his head and respond with an "ah." or "yeah." He was a man of few words and yet he emitted a comfortable aura. I liked that.

Today however Honey insisted on staying with the two of us since his regular customers had not shown up for the day. As the cute seventeen year old ate his cake Mori amused himself while I read from a book. Later tonight I would be busy attending a party my grandmother wished me to go to so I would be home rather late. There would be no time for reading once I got home, I'd be too exhausted from putting on a fake smile to read a single word.

"Miya-chan why did you choose Takashi as your host?" Honey asked, I looked up from my book to see both him and Mori staring at me. Closing the book and setting it down on the table I smiled before responding.

"He's quiet. And I enjoy his company without having to speak to one another."

"Wah can you and Takashi speak through your minds? That would be neat! Although talking to cake would be even better." Honey rambled and I smiled softly at my senpai. His childish nature was adorable.

"Thanks for choosing me." Mori Senpai said in his deep voice before patting me on the head. I smiled and nodded my head slightly before we started talking more.

"Wah this is the longest Takashi has ever spoken! Tama-chan! Haru-Chan! Takashi is talking a lot!" Honey senpai said and I laughed at his smiling face which was accompanied by his arms swinging in the air out of excitement.

"Who does she think she is? Hanging around Mori senpai like that. That newcomer should know her place." That voice wasn't Honey senpai's sweet tone and he wouldn't say such things regardless. Mori senpai was silent as ever so it couldn't have been him either. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a rather gloomy looking face. It wasn't Tamaki though, it was a girl. Once she noticed that I was looking at her, her entire mood changed. The gloomy aura turned into a bright one. Her 180 change was blindly, and I thought only Tamaki could switch moods that fast.

"Princess Hime did you say something?" Kyoya asked as he pushed up his glasses. I jumped a bit at his sudden appearance. He always seemed to pop out of the shadows. Haruhi did say that the club members called him the Shadow King.

"Not at all Kyoya. Now I do believe it's my time with Mori-senpai." She made her way to our table. Smiling at me as she did so, for a split second I thought that her smile might have been genuine. That all vanished when she glared at me and roughly bumped my shoulder as she walked past me and sat by Mori senpai's side in a spare chair on his left.

"It's my time with Mori-senpai.If you would Miya please leave us." She said her tone cheery. Honey stared at her blankly like me he wasn't buying the sweet tone.

"Come on Mi-Chan! I'll show you where we keep the cake!" Honey senpai said with a big smile. I nodded my head and followed him to the storage area. Something was bugging me about that girl however. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
