Chapter One

September 9

The girls squealed in excitement while the boys talked to their friends enthusiastically.

     Seconds after the homeroom teacher, Mr. Kimura, announced the plan of the high school field trip, the class turned boisterous. Including her—who talked so cheerfully to her best friends. Even before the event starts, she has made some little plans with two of her best friends

     Maybe this trip could be an inspiration for her next novel while she could also vlogged for her YouTube account.

     "How about we try that famous green tea parfait?" Aoi, one of her best friends suggested with mirth in her eyes.

     "Yes! I heard Kyoto's green tea parfait is the best in Japan." Her other best friend, Honoka, added. Honoka's chubby cheeks redden as she imagined the taste of the green tea parfait.

     "All you think about is just food, Honoka." Aoi giggled along with their laughter.

     "Jeez, who cares. I'm not even fat," Honoka said, puffing her cheeks, annoyed. "not like you, Aoi."

     Seeing two of her best friends argue playfully, always made her chuckle—she joined their argument, sometimes. She turned her head to the right to glance at her boyfriend, Daiki.

     Daiki asked her out 3 months ago while she fancied him that time, too. He is quite tall and his grades are usually good—basically, he is an almost-goody-two-shoe. She thinks he is a devoted son and will also be a devoted boyfriend. That's probably why she had taken a liking to him. Probably.

     Surprisingly, Daiki glance back at her, making her cheeks crimsoned in a split second. He replied to her with a wide grin; ear to ear, making her blush harder as she replied his grin with the same wideness.

     "How I am so jealous of Daiki and Shiori." Aoi muttered while propping his head using the back of her hand.

     "How you wished Mr. Kimura would act that way towards you." Shiori added while laughing along with Honoka.

     "W-what?! No way. No. Way." Aoi stammered out with her cheeks tinged red.

    "Just admit it."

How it would be so beautiful to have a private trip as a couple.

     Shiori thought to herself as she imagined how her ten-days in Kyoto would be. There will be some free time for students in day five and six in which she will take them for some dates with her boyfriend or just a little trip with her best friends.

     If only Daiki wasn't so busy.

     Things with student council took his time for more than it should have been. Almost everytime she called him, he must be doing a student council's work. She was glad when he was chosen as one of the new student council members because it was his dream since years ago. But now that things have changed in their relationship, it's probably best to let him immerse himself in the job.

     The thought of wanting his time, maybe just her selfish little thought.

     "In today's video, I would like to talk about high school field trips because I will be going for a field trip! First, let's talk about what to bring on field trips." She continued while picking up some stuff she has put around her.
