I Can't
I can't do this. I can't pretend I'm okay anymore. I can't tell people it'll be okay
if I can't even believe it will.
I use to be happy, I use to have her, my friend, the one person who stood by me through it all.
She use to say, that we are all just leaves being swept away one at a time by the wind,
until the sun comes and it's all over.
She left me, she went without me, she was swept away by the wind,
Didn't even look behind her.
Why would you when you're so close and I'm so far away.
What if we're just leaves swept away in the wind, but we all just crumble before the sun shines and the wind stops ?
There is blood on this page, but you can't see it's deep red.
There is tears on this page but you don't see this running ink.
Thank you for helping,
I ignore the people who say I claim attention
But lets be honest would you put yourself in this position
Experiencing you most horrible envisions
Taking knives to your wrist making small incisions
But you won't, so just don't say it
I've heard it all, and I take your hate
But can't you see
There is blood on this page, but you can't see it's deep red
There is tears on this page but you can't see the running ink
There is pain in these words, but you can't read between these lines.
But I won't say anything, won't do anything
I can't, I just can't.
