Brilliance of Light

(A prose)

I believe that we're just celestial bodies. One blow and all these skin and bones will fade away, and what's left, is a brilliance of light; undefined, free with no labels; free to love anyone.

And one day you meet another light. Somehow outshines the other lights. It captures your essence, and you capture his. And you grow brighter and brighter each day.

I like to believe that one day, if I meet the brilliance of light of my life, I will forget the cold nights of the universe, all the cosmic rocks that hurdled my way, and the lonely nights I stayed awake counting the stars. He'll be my night light, my guide, and my love.

Maybe he's still a million light years away. But whoever he is, or wherever he is, if we're meant to collide as one, he'll find my light somehow.

Just believe.
