Chapter Nine

OMG OMG I SORRY!!!!!! I'm so late with this but that's because I was grounded for a few days!!! ...I got a B in history... THAT'S THE WORST GRADE I EVER GOT K?! I'm sad but happy cause I'm back bitches!!! :D ok so here is 1/3 ((or of 2)) chappies ima post tonight.

Sky's POV

I woke up to Ty's screaming.

"No Adam! Please don't leave!" He screamed hoarsely. I shook him to try to wake him from his dream.

"Ty. Ty wake up." I said nervously. He didn't want me to leave him but I was right here.

"Adam!" He gasped, "Adam, your here! Thank god your here!" He balled into my shoulder and I rubbed circles in his back soothingly.

"Shhh... It's ok Ty. I won't leave you. I'm here..." I whispered in his ear.

"Don't hate me..." He whimpered.

"Why would I hate you?" I asked confused. He was the man I loved. Why would he think I would hate him?

"Because of this," he said holding out his arms to me. They were a blue-green color. I touched one arm lightly and he winced. Not from pain but from me. His arms were slippery and cold to the touch. I gasped.

"They-they turned you into a-" I said trying to hold back tears.

"Hybrid..." He finished. His head was down, eyes squinted shut, tears streaming down his face. I was appalled. How dare they! How dare those nasty creatures do that to him! They took the one thing I loved most and mixed him with the most vial creature to ever live. The thing that I hate most of all. Squids.

Curly's POV

I smiled as my plan to get Endie up worked. I let the ice droplets melt then evaporate back into the air, then I sat back and sighed. Paii got up and started to get ready. I called her that 1) because she hated her real name. It reminded her too much of what she was 2) because I called her that since we were little. Paii put on her grey tube top that she wore under her black and purple striped hoodie. All of her shirts and jackets had slits in the back to allow her to extend and contract her 12 foot long Ender Wings. She pulled on her faded purple shorts then her knee high black boots. She tied the rainbow laces into a double bow, then turned to get her hoodie. She left it unzipped and hood down. Paii then took her long purple hair out of the bun she slept in so it covered one of her bright purple eyes. They shifted to black when she noticed me staring.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready, Bunny?" She asked with annoyance. Her eyes changed back to purple when I scowled.

"Fine. And don't call me 'Bunny.' My name is Curly Rabbit. Not 'Skull Face' not. 'Bunny' and certainly not 'Zombie Rabbit'" I said, then I walked out to change into my usual clothing: Purple and white checkered hoodie, jean shorts, and white knee-high boots. I looked in the mirror to fix my shoulder length, brown hair to try and cover the left side of my face. I frowned when I couldn't get it right. I hated my face. Before... the incident... I looked normal and not like a freak. The right side of my face was decent but the left side was pale, scarred and the skin was tight along the bones. I grazed my finger over the long, white scar that separated the pale, ugly side if my face from the normal, pretty side. I guess before this happened, you could say that I was pretty. I was only eight when it happened. I switched my glance to my shimmering, deep purple eyes. I smiled. They always sparkled with happiness, even when I was sad. Once I could cover my face with my hair, I could fool people with my eyes. I sighed. I was still a freak. A freak with powers, a tail, and claws. A freak who would never be accepted in society. A freak who could be killed. Who WOULD be killed if caught, along with her sister. I choked back the tears.

~No~ I thought ~No more crying. Not over this. It doesn't matter anymore. It's not worth the frustration~

I slowly counted to ten, trying to get a grip on my self when Paii walked in. I immediately bent over tie my light purple laces on my boots.

"Are you ready yet?" She asked with a hint of anxiety. She was hungry and we needed to go raid a village for there food.

"Yeah, just tying my shoes," I replied, then ran through the door way and out of the house. Paii teleported in front of me.

"I'M GONNA BEAT YOU!" She chanted with a smile on her face. Sometimes I swore we acted like five year olds.

"NUH UH!" I yelled back then teleported way in front. Now we would just run so we wouldn't get caught by the villagers. We ran through the village, Paii right behind me, then stopped at the well.

"Weird, no one is here..." She said. I glanced around. She was right. I didn't see anyone. Maybe this one was abandoned. It didn't matter. Me and Paii split up to check the houses for chests. I walked to the first house, a bakery, to find in one of the large chests four pieces of bread, three apples, two pumpkin pies, six cookies, and one cake. I smiled. This would be enough to last us for a few days. I moved on. The next stop was a blacksmith's shop. I checked all of the chests. (1) iron axe, three iron ingots, some cobble and a piece of bread. (2) One gold ((BUDDER)) ingot, three iron ores, and two apples. In the third chest, I opened the lid to 2 diamonds and 3 emeralds. I gaped. Wow, who would leave this behind. Instead of shoving them in my pack, I put them in my pocket, zipping it closed. Then I went to meet Paii by the well.
