Chapter Ten

PART TWO!!! Here ya go!

((Sry kinda short. I'm still really sick and I'm tired but it's 1 o'clock in the morning.... U GUYS DID THIS!!! Haha jkjk))

Endie's POV

I scoured the first house for chests. I didn't see any so I turned to leave, but I walked right into another person. Behind my closed eyes I was hoping it was Curly, but knowing it wasn't. Slowly, I opened my eyes. There stood a person in a space suit, helmet off, tucked underneath his arm. (( This is based off of the fictional Jason underneath the spacesuit)) The boy had windblown, sandy colored hair and emerald green eyes. He had sharp but kind features and his expression looked confused.

"Are you lost?" He asked me. His voice was smooth and sent tingles up my spine.

"I-uh-um was just-uh..." I stuttered trying to get up. I was shaking and nervous. I wasn't good with new people and I was shy. The boy lent me a hand and I took it. He lifted me up and I stood there dumbly staring at the floor.

"T-thanks..." I said after regaining my thoughts.

"No problem. So what are you doing here?" He asked. He didn't look like a villager and I knew he didn't live here.

"Looking for...uh... food... and-uh... stuff..." I mumbled. Why was I always like this with new people?

"Why here? Why not just farm? Or kill the livestock?" He asked.

"W-well me and-and my sister are...uh kinda in a hurry and we..." I trailed of the end of the sentence, thinking about what to say. He was silent so I continued, "We are traveling. We need to get food and supplies quickly and we come to recently abandoned villages to do so. It's easier that way, and no one gets hurt." I managed to finish without stuttering. He was silent for a minute, thinking and I blushed a deep crimson.

"Seems reasonable. Well, I hope you have fun on your adventure!" He smiled. I gave a weak smile back. I turned to leave and he stopped me.

"Oh, by the way, my name is Jason."

"...Endie, but call me Paii..." I responded.

"Nice to meet you, Paii. Well, I see you have to go, but if you ever need me, use this." He handed me a small black square with a white outline. I pressed a circle button on the bottom and a hologram of a star appeared. I pressed the button again and something in Jason's helmet beeped. I smiled.

"Thanks. I'll be sure to use this," I said. I didn't know if I would use it, but I kept it handy if I did. I didn't know why but I felt like I wanted to use the device...

"Well, see you around," he said. I nodded back then walked out of the house.

Ok I warned you! Very short chappie and I'm sorry! It's a filler and I'm sorry it's short! I'm really tired right now because I'm sick, I had a dance on Friday, and I was working all today. By working I mean cleaning the house and just let me tell you, it wasn't fun. So I'm tired and sore and blah de blah blah blah u guys don't fucking care but oh well... Again sorry for the short chapter, I'll try to make Wednesdays longer but idk. THANKS FOR READING MY MARSHIES!!!
