Chapter 5: A Reluctant Friendship

"YOU ALWAYS TAKE EVERY GLORY YOU SEE!" Zhion said as he threw a fire ball towards Marcus, which he dodged. "NO, I WOULD'VE LET YOU SHARE IN THE MISSION IF YOU JUST DIDN'T SNEAK INTO MY ROOM AND TRIED TO STEAL ALL THE ELEMENTAL SHARDS!" "GUYS PLEASE!" Riley went between them and tried to stop them, but  summoned several lightning flashes from the sky, trying to hit and target Zhion, but he dodged it. Then when they made their final attacks, they had both said at the same time, "I HATE YOU!" Zhion released a tornado towards Marcus, while Marcus had released a giant ice towards Zhion. Unfortunately, their powers had combined, which caused a massive explosion and luckily, the forest was left unharmed. After the dust cleared up, they saw a red cloak lying on the ground beside the basket. Marcus gasped, "OH NO, WHERE'S RILEY!? OH NO I KILLED HER!" Zhion rolled his eyes at him and scowled, "Calm down dummy, she must've just went somewhere." Marcus then blamed Zhion, "This is all YOUR fault! IF YOU JUST DIDN'T TRY TO STEAL THOSE SHARDS THEN—" but then Zhion interrupted him, "NOTHING is even going to happen if you keep blaming ME. IF WE WANNA FIND HER, WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER. What do you say?" Marcus rolled his eyes and reluctantly agreed, "Ugh fine, but this is only to save my younger sister." Marcus took out 2 horses from the stable and said, "Get your map, let's go." Zhion nodded as both the guys had saddled on their horse and their horses had set out and galloped through the thick woods. They had followed Zhion's map that leads towards the Southern Kingdom of Deloniah. Marcus got curious and asked, "Why are we heading towards the Southern Kingdom? How do you even know she is here?" Zhion replied, "I am 100% sure. She has got to be here. When we had a mission to go to the Southern Kingdom, THAT is her only focused location to head into. I am absolutely sure she is somewhere in the Kingdom." Marcus nodded as they continued riding their horses.
Riley's Point of View
Phew I ditched the cloak before I could even be damaged in that massive explosion. Right now, I am wearing my white dress while I wandered through the woods. I climbed a small hilltop and sat down while I gazed down on the perfect view around me. Just then, when I was looking around me, I saw... THE KINGDOM OF DELONIAH! I quickly traced the way towards the Castle Town as I leapt off the hilltop and ran towards the path that I had traced heading towards Deloniah. By the way, I decided to leave my cloak my basket and Zhion and Marcus behind cause I wanted Zhion and Marcus to get along. How can we even find grandmother when those two can't even get along? I can guess they're working together to find me. I was about to put on the hood from my cloak but then I forgot, I ditched the cloak! Uh oh... I was so nervous when I entered the castle town! I saw market stalls everywhere, vendors selling. I also saw joyful kids running around and playing tag. I was really confused, so I asked myself, "Uhh... Deloniah seems like a friendly and nice kingdom to me. Why would it attack Lenorah?" Just then, a troop of the knights and guards of Deloniah slowly walked towards the Castle Town. The crowd suddenly became very silent and no one dared to talk. The people went to the sideways of the Castle Town, leaving a middle entrance for the knights and guards. They walked past all the people, and then they had entered the castle. When they were gone, the townsfolk were starting to whisper towards each other, and shortly, their noises came back again. I saw a girl, of which has the age almost the same as me. She had long black hair and had cerulean blue eyes. She wore a shining sliver dress, and wore a blue cloak and concealed her face by covering her face in her hood. I can tell from the looks in her face, that she was looking for someone, or she was with someone and lost him/her. She was turning her head checking every direction, from left to right. I can tell she was panicking inside her head. So then I slowly approached her and tapped her shoulder, "Um hey ate you okay ma'm?" She jumped and quickly turned around and looked at me, "Oh uh hey! I am Lyra! Uh have you seen— OH ACTUALLY NEVERMIND. BYE BYE!" I grabbed her arm, "Wait! Calm down, who are you looking for?" "Oh sorry, I was looking for my sister, Lyca. She looks like me, well EXACTLY LIKE ME cause we are twins!" I replied, "Oh okay. I guess I can help you look for her." Lyra replied, 'Really?! Thank you thank you thank you! COME ON, I THINK SHE IS UH... THIS WAY! I LAST SAW HER GO HERE COME ON!"
Marcus' Point of View
Zhion and I had finally arrived Deloniah's castle town. I gasped when I just realized what Zhion was wearing. I whispered, "ZHION, TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRT!" Zhion glared at me and whispered back, "DUDE WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" I answered, "ARE YOU TRYING TO SUICIDE!? YOU'RE WEARING A SHIRT WITH THE ROYAL SYMBOL OF LENORAH. THEY MIGHT ACCUSE YOU OF BEING ONE OF LENORAH'S SPY KNIGHTS!" Zhion's eyes widened and replied, "OH DARN." He then quickly took off his shirt and put on his cloak and concealed his shirtless body from the cold. We saw vendors everywhere in their stalls, but no Riley to be found. I glared at him, "IS THERE a Riley here?" Zhion rolled his eyes, "SHE is here I can sense it. She went there, come on." I reluctantly nodded and followed him. I am starting to doubt this guy. Is he leading me into a trap?
