Chapter 6: Lyra and Lyca: The Shallowwood Twins

Riley's Point of View
"Come on come on come on!" Lyra hurried as she sprinted through several people and saw her twin at last. She shouted, "LYCA!" "LYRA!"  The twins hugged each other. Aw they're adorable together. Then Lyra turned to me and said, "Oh Riley, meet Lyca, my twin." Lyca waved, "Hey! I see you've met my sister! Hello and again, she is Lyra Shallowwood, and yours truly, I am Lyca Shallowwood. And that makes us, the Shallowwood twins!" I smiled at them, "Nice to meet you both." Lyra suddenly got curious and asked me, "Riley, what are you doing here in Deloniah?" I answered, "Oh long story, you see, my friend Zhion and my brother Marcus had a big fight of the whatsoever elemental crystals they were talking about. It was all about 'stealing this, taking that' blah blah it continued. It was long since I last saw my brother so I was happy. Then Zhion started their fight again and now I think they're teaming up whether they like it or not, to search for me. Plus, I also went here to search for my grandmother. How about you guys?" Lyra and Lyca both answered, "We really live here." I nodded and just in time, Marcus and Zhion saw me and shouted, "RILEY!!!" Zhion ran towards me and hugged me. Marcus glared at him and said, "AHEM, ZHION YOU'RE HER BROTHER AREN'T YOU??" Zhion glared at him and replied, "WHY I MISSED HER CAUSE I LO-- I MEAN I MISSED MY FRIEND!" I got really confused. Then Marcus said, "I'm just so glad you're safe Riley. If mom was here, she'd really pull my ear if she found out." He scratched the back of his head, while I slightly laughed at his joke. Then I saw Lyca blushing slightly and I said, "Lyca are you okay?" She then snapped back to reality and quickly replied, "OH UH YEAH!" Lyra smirked, "So my twin likes someone.." Lyca glared at her and blushed redder, "NO NO NO I DON'T!" I rolled my eyes at her and said, "Come on guys, let's go to the Kingdom's library. We need some knowledge about this kingdom anyway." They all agreed and we went to the kingdom's library.

3rd Person View  

The five went to the kingdom library and researched more about the kingdom. Lyra and Lyca was knowledgeable of their kingdom, so they taught the three all they know about the kingdom.

"Okay, so that's about it." Lyra concluded. "Woah, well I learned A LOT!" Riley exclaimed. Lyra replied, "Glad you did, those things you learned are going to be useful." Just then, Marcus whispered, "Riley can we talk alone?" she nodded and she went behind the bookshelves with my brother. She raised her eyebrow, "So what do you want to talk about?" He cleared his throat nervously and said, "Wh-who's the girl?" she asked him, "Who the white-haired one or the black-haired one?" He replied, "The black-haired one.." Riley then teased him, "Ohh you mean Lyca... YOU LIKE HER??" He stayed silent and looked down the floor while he cleared his throat. "I KNEW IT!" They came out behind the bookshelves, with Marcus sweating and looking down at the floor while Riley had plastered and wide smile. Zhion asked, "Uhh Riley are you okay?" She then exclaimed, "I'VE NEVER BEEN BETTER..." Zhion looked confused and replied, "Uh okay..." Lyra finally interrupted, "By the way, do you guys want to go to our secret grotto?" Riley replied, "Sure!" Lyra nodded and leaded the way. Riley walked beside Lyra, then followed by Zhion, and Lyca and Marcus were last and were beside each other. Lyca was blushing and hiding her face from Marcus. Marcus suddenly held her hand while walking, which made him and Lyca blush redder. Riley looked back slightly and were making fake cough noises while smirking. Marcus blushed and looked away while still holding Lyca's hand. Lyca then asked, "Uh.. wh-wh-why are you h-holding my hand..?" Marcus replied nervously, "C-cause I-I don't want you to be in danger, I-I want to protect you. I-I'll let go if you want." Lyca then said, "No no, i-it's okay.. I liked it honestly, your hand is really making me calm and safe." Marcus blushed and Riley suddenly sang, "MARCUS, LYCA, SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-N--" Zhion suddenly grabbed Riley by the hips and used his other hand to cover her mouth. Riley tries struggling to break free but Zhion said, "Can you stop." Riley rolled her eyes and stayed silent. Zhion then immediately let go of Riley and finally, they had reached the destination.
