Chapter four~ talking with some old family

*Lance POV*
I didn't know what to say I was scared and nervous first time talking to my mom! "Hello is anyone there hello" she said. "Umm yeah hi" I said. "Is this Dan Sullivan" she asked. I looked up at my friends. "Answer say it's you lance" Jessica told me. "I don't know how I'm so nervous" I said. "It's okay she's your mother just talk to her" manny said. "Okay then here it goes". "Hello mom is that you" I said. "She didn't answer right away then after about a minute she said Lance it is me your mother"! "Mom you don't know how long I've wanted to talk to you I've been trying to reach you for so long I said"! "Oh my son it's really you I miss you so much I wish I could come visit so bad" she said I herd her crying now. "I do to maybe I can come live with you guys it would be so good if I could"! "No sweetie as much as I want you to you can't". I froze for a minutes and then asked "why not"? "Because I tried to reach your father and see if your sister can come live with you and yes I know what your thinking you do have a twin sister" she said. "Oh I already new that dad told me a long time ago". "Wait what we promised never to tell you guys oh well that's sounds like something Dan would do". "Wait your telling me Lauren doesn't even know about me why would you keep it a secret"? "Because I thought that would want you guys to want to come and meet each other and nag us to bring you back together" she went on. "We didn't ever want to see each other again not after what your father did to me and we hated each other very badly". "What happened between you 2" I asked. "That doesn't matter what dies is that I get my daughter over with you guys her step father has been Very abusive" she said. "Well it can't be any worse then here, she can't come live down here because my dads in jail right now and my step mother and step brothers will abuse her even more it's horrible"! She didn't answer for a minute then that's when I hung up before she could say anything else! "Why did you hang up dude" manny asked. "I can't believe it I can't go live there it sounds awful she wants to send my sister here"! "And obviously she can't live here" I said. I whipped tears of disappointment. "It's okay it is you can live with us in the pent house we have plenty of room" Jessica said running over. "Yeah sweetie you can stay with us as long as you like it's okay" Jessica grandma said. "Thanks that's very kind of you I would love to say with you but I need to get to Mississippi I didn't just save all that money for nothing"! "No you herd what your mom said you can't go it's worse there then here" manny said. "Nothing's worse then this life and my sister might me endanger I need to go help so I'm going". "Okay you can go but I'm coming with" Jessica said. "Sweetie if he wants to go then he can go it's his decision but I'm not letting you go". "Please grandma my mom would have let me and your the one who always says to stick up for your friends no matter what" Jessica said. "Yes sweetie but... But what please grandma let me do this" Jessica said interrupting her. "Okay fine darling you go help your friend if that is what you want" she said. "Yes it is thank you grandma thank you she said running over to hug her". "What about me can I come manny" asked. "Of course dude I can't go without you were Pokemon go masers" I said laughing. "Okay then it's settled let's go back to my house and get the tickets hopefully Jessica's grandpa know how to buy them I was never good with technology" she said laughing. We followed behind her and headed back this could be my chance to get s better life!

*Lauren's POV*
I listened for awhile as she talked I waited in the other room so she wouldn't see me. I couldn't hear her that well but i herd her say something about a kid named lance and that he was my twin brother! I her her say that she didn't want us to know about each other and it was for the best. I was mad now and a little excited I have a twin brother this was amazing but I was still angry at her. I listened a little more to the conversation once she was done I barged in. "Hello mother" I said sarcastically. "Sweetie how long have you been here" she asked. "Oh almost the hole phone call with my brother I never knew I had"! "Look sweetie I can explain everything" she said. "Yes please do I would like know" I said mad now. "So it's true you are a twin and I didn't want to tell you cause I know you would want to go and meet him". "Why is that so bad obviously I would want to meet him"! "Well we made this arrangement thinking we would never have to see each other in well forever" she said. "Why what happened between you and my dad" I asked. "Your father wasn't the best man ever he abused me and alcohol" she explained. "What so that's it that's what your husband now does"? "Is there more there has to be" I asked again. "Maybe but I don't want to talk about it okay" she said. That's when the door bell rang and I ran to get it. I was surprised to see Matt Maria's ex boyfriend I expected him to beat me up or something, but instead he asked to talk to me alone. I looked back at my mom and said "I will be back but we will finish this conversation later". I walked outside and shut the door behind me. "Hey so what are you doing here" I asked. "Wow that's nice no hello what's up or any of that" she said laughing. "Oh I'm sorry it's just people aren't usually nice to me so". "No it's fine I get it I just wanted to thank you for helping me and telling me that Miria was cheating" he said. "Oh no problem and yeah you really should have seen it coming she's a bitch like that I" said laughing. "You are right she really is and it also showed me how brave you were to stand up to her no one has had the guts to" he said impressed. "Oh well after awhile you get tired of the same old bullshit" I said "and hey why are you out of school so early"? "Oh because it was a half day". "Oh right I forgot well it was nice talking to you" I said as I turned around for the door but he stopped me. "Hey wait Lauren I actually came here for a little more than that I was wondering if you wanted to come study with me"? He asked. "Oh I get it you want to me to do your homework for you I new it was to good to be true some one actually being nice" I said. "No I said study you know for the test Coming up in history I would like that I also want to get to know you" he said. "Wait really me why me I asked". "Well because you seem nice brace and chill sometimes"he said laughing a little. Well okay I guess I will come study with you but wait this isn't a trick for Maria to humiliate me is it". "No trust me I'm over her I'm never talking to her again you can trust me really Lauren"! "Okay I'm sorry it's just you know how people have been to me I will go grab my stuff" I said running inside. I grabbed my books told my mom were I was going and left! I was so excited I couldn't believe someone was actually trying to be friends with me I kind of liked it to! I was really happy he asked me to hang well study but still it was a start!
