I knocked on the gate quickly and glanced behind me.

"Raya, that's not going to work." Steve sighed, clearly annoyed that he had to be there.

"No, she's right. They're here." Zoe smiled as the large metal gates creaked open and 6 guards appeared next to us. Steve huffed and rolled his eyes. "Are you excited to see her again?" She asked.

"Of course!!" Mia said as the guards start walking towards one of the big, plain gray buildings. "Raya and I even got her flowers this time."

"Aww, that's so cute." Zoe smiled, glacing at one of the guards. "Okay, I have to go see my dad now -- bye guys!"

I squeezed her hand and smiled. "Bye love."

She laughed and kissed my nose. "I'll be back soon." I sighed happily as she walked away with one of the guards.

"You guys are so cute together." Mia said, looking down at her feet.

"You'll find someone. I know it."

"Yeah, sure." She replied as the guards opened the door to Momma's room, surrounding her cell.

I ran over to the bars and smiled. "Momma!!" Mia skipped over next to me.

She swong down from her cloth hommoc and slipped her hands through the bars to touch our cheeks. "Hello my little crazies, how are you?"

"We're good, just missed you!" Mia said, glacing back at Steve and Tony. "We wanna live with you, Momma. Tony and Steve are really f*cking mean!!"

She sighed and looked at us sympathetically. "I've been telling you two this for 9 years. Tony and Steve take good care of you, better than you would have here. As much as I'd absolutely love you to, and trust me, I definitely would, I want you to experience the outside world. 14 year old's need that."

I pouted and looked at the ground. "We never go outside, we don't meet other kids, except for Zoe, and they're so strict and rude. We feel less like their children and more of their burdens. Living here would definitely be better."

Momma widened her eyes. "You don't meet new kids...you don't go OUTSIDE?!"

"No." Mia said, looking up at her.

"TONY. STEVE. GET OVER HERE!!" She screamed, banging against the bars. "YOU'RE MISTREATING MY DAUGHTERS AND I WON'T HAVE ANY MORE OF YOUR SH*T."

Tony walked over to our seething mother hesitently. "Yes Ms. Harley?"

"You're not letting my girls meet other kids, have any social interaction, go outside or even making them feel LOVED?! I WANT BETTER ADOPTIVE PARENTS FOR MY LITTLE CRAZIES OR I'LL--"

"Momma, please, we don't want you in here any longer than you already are." I laughed.

"But I want you under the best circumstances and-"

"We're fine. Just...here." Mia said, pulling out the flowers from in her coat.

"W-wow girls, thank you!" She said, smiling.

I glanced back at one of the guards and he nodded. I took a shaky breath and looked up.

"Momma, we have to go now."

"What? Already?" She replied frantically.

"Yeah. I love you Momma." I said, blinking back tears.

"I love you too Momma." Mia peeped.

"But you can't leave already, it's too soon! We haven't even-"

"Come on girls," Tony snaps, looking back at Momma's flushed face. "Let's go."
