Anna’s POV
“I don’t like it,” I said as I sat down in the hut with Percy and Anya.
“I neither mum but what can we do?” asked Percy.
“We should go to Camelot,” said Anya.
“Not now honey, I’m trying to think. We should stay here your father could be back any minute but at the same time what if he isn’t. I’m worried about this vision you have seen, Percy. What do you think?” I asked him.
“We should go to Camelot,” said Percy.
“I guess you are right.”
“I just said that,” said Anya annoyed.
“Sorry honey, you are both right. Pack your things, we’re going to Camelot,” I said as I got up. Percy and Anya cheered until I looked at them both.
“Sorry,” they both said.
“This is not a holiday. This could be dangerous. This is to ensure Merlin and Adair are alright,” I told them both.
“Can I bring my dragon?” asked Anya. I couldn’t help but laugh.
Luke’s POV
I knocked on the door of Merlin’s chamber but after I got no answer Roy and I just went inside. We found Gaius standing near the bed but Merlin sat on the bed with Adair in his arms. Adair seemed to be wiping his tears away and they looked up to see us both.
“Sorry we didn’t mean to intrude but thought, Adair could do with some company,” I said quickly.
“Not a problem. Gaius and I are leaving now anyway. Don’t worry, Adair everything will be fine,” Merlin said as he kissed Adair on the forehead before he got up and he left the room with Gaius. Roy and I went over to the bed and sat either side.
“How are you feeling? What is wrong?” I asked.
“I’m feeling a lot better thanks. Nothing to worry about, I’m glad you’re ok too now,” Adair smiled at me.
“I’m here if you need someone to talk to, Adair. We both are, we’re your friends now for life.”
“I know. It’s not important though. Wish I could get out of bed but I think I shouldn’t yet,” he laughed.
“What’s stopping you having fun right here though,” I grinned as an idea came to me.
Unknown POV
“Why are we here mum?” my young and only daughter, Siennaasked me
“I hope the king can help us.” I said to her. My dark hair blew in the wind and so did my daughters as we approached the city gates. I had heard a lot about King Arthur and I hoped he could give us somewhere to stay, as we have nothing left.
As we reached the gates we found a knight standing there. “Excuse me, can you help us?” I asked him.
“It depends what I can do for you,” he smiled.
“I and my daughter need somewhere to stay and we have nowhere to go. I was hoping we can have an audience with the king,” I said.
“I’m Gwaine and I am sure I can get you one,” he smiled.
Matthew’s POV
Gwaine hadn’t been waiting for me to train with him. He had to guard the gates of the city. I swear my mum had just told me that as to send me off to find Mary. I had found Mary on the training field instead. I had no one to practice with now.
“If you here to train, then train,” said Mary looking at me.
“Who with?” I asked her.
“I’m here, aren’t I?”
“You’re just a girl,” I began.
“Let’s train and then see who is a girl after,” she told me as she grabbed a sword and a shield. I did the same and we both faced each other. Mary hit me first and I only managed to block her in time.
“Your actually good for a girl,” I laughed. Mary came at me again but this time even faster. “Stay concentrated,” Mary said. Our swords clanged together and I raised my shield at times to protect myself. It went like that for a while until Mary caught me off guard and my shield went flying. As I tried to get concentrated she used her advantage and came at me too fast.
I found myself trying to block her sword but I was too slow and she used her sword to knock my sword away. Her sword is now inches from my chin. “If you’re to be king someday you must train a lot harder,” said Mary before she put her shield and sword back.
As I went to say something to her she put her finger to my lips. “We’re train again,” she said before she removed her finger and then kissed me on the cheek. Mary smiled at me before she walked away. I wanted to go find Luke and get as much training as possible but at the same time, I felt dazed right now.
As I headed back towards the castle I noticed Gwaine with some woman and a young girl, probably my age. I wonder who they are? I rushed forward and slowed down as I caught them up.
“Hey, Gwaine...oh hi there I’m Matthew,” I introduced myself.
“I’m Zana and this is my daughter, Sienna. “
Arthur’s POV
A knock echoed from my chamber door. I sat at the table in my room with Merlin. Merlin smiled at me. “Come in.” I watched as Gwaine entered the room along with, Matthew.
“Sorry to bother you but a women and her young child have nowhere to stay and require a audience with you,” said Gwaine.
“I am sure we can do that can’t we, Merlin,” I said turning to him.
“It’s your decision,” he said to me.
“That might be so but Merlin your my best friend and while you are here you promised to help me. We must both agree,” I said to him.
“I more than agree,” smiled Merlin.
“Let them know at once, Gwaine and bring them both to the council chamber. We are going there now.”
Mordred’s POV
I may have ruined our plan the first time but I am not going to do it again. I am not going to trust anyone apart from Morgana and Sally the dragon. Our plan is going to work and Morgana will sit upon the throne, like she is meant too.
“Mordred what are you doing,” called Morgana.
“Nothing, at all why do you ask?”
“I want to go over something quickly to our plan,” said Morgana.
“What is that?” I asked as I went into the other part of the hut. “We need to insure that no one knows of our plan. I need you to use your special gift,” Morgana smirked.
“I will use it right away,” I said as I closed my eyes.
Morgana’s POV
I watched as Mordred closed his eyes and I waited patiently. After a while Mordred open his eyes and he looked at me. “I only felt one thing that was wrong my lady,” he said to me.
“What is it, Mordred?” I asked him.
“I don’t know if there is any connection my lady but Arthur’s son, Luke he will be the one to ruin your plan,” he told me.
“Then this means one thing, Mordred.”
“What is that?”
“We must attack, Luke first,” she smirked.
