I got off the bus with Silver, everyone started to stare at Silver and I.
Mainly it's because of me...
"Sorry for people staring at you, Silver...",I whispered, apologetically.
"Oh!It's fine!Besides, I probably don't care if people stare at me.I've been bullied a lot at my old school, too.",Silver whispered back.
I was shocked.
'A nice poor thing?Bullied?'
I shook it off and saw Scourge,Espio and Knuckles.
Scourge laughed.
"Why are you here, punk?",he nudged me on the arm.
"Back off!",I heard Silver say.
"Why is that pot head?Is this nerd your friend?",he asked and punched my face, I stumbled along and hit the ground.
"Yeah!He is!",Silver growled back.
"Hmm...another one we could play with...",I heard Scourge mumble,"Hmph!Well this, NERD...is weak, so I guess you're weak also, right?",he punched Silver's face and Silver stumbled, holding the bruise on his cheek.
"Hey Scourge!Pick someone your own size for once!"
I was a complete blushing mess when I saw my crush.
I also was shocked.
I thought he would never notice me!
Silver looked at me, confused but I just stared into Sonic's emerald eyes.

"If you're going to mess with them, you have to mess with me first!",he growled and smirked playfully.
Scourge growled.
"C'mon boys!",Scourge hissed.
"Knux!You don't have to do this!",I heard Sonic yell.
"I have to, Sonic.So back off!",Knuckles hissed and went with Scourge and Espio.
Sonic sighed and smiled at us.
It made me blush even more.
'He finally noticed me, He finally noticed me, He finally noticed me!!',I repeated in my head.
"Heh well hi!I think that you know that I'm Sonic!Oh!You must be Shadow!",he said to me.
I was red.
"Y-Y-Yes!",I stuttered.
'He knows my name!!!',I was in daydream land, it's a miracle!
First I made a new friend and now my long-time crush finally noticed me!
"Oh I'm Silver!",I heard Silver say.
"Well nice to meet us Silver!",He exclaimed.
I stood up and bent over to get my books and I noticed that Sonic was doing the same thing and we ended up touching hands, we both blushed.
"Uh!Sorry!",said Sonic and laughed.
I smiled slightly as I picked up my books.
"W-Well I gotta get to my class!Gonna be late!",he exclaimed and dashed off.
Silver nudged me on the arm and smirked.
"You like him, huh?",he guessed.
I nodded slowly and looked at my hand.

I will never wash these hands again!
