I was on the bus, sitting next to Silver.
My friend that I met today.
My first friend...
Since my other friend..., Maria...
Died...when she was apart of a shooting party and got shot, right in front of me.
I was 6 when that happned and Maria was 8.

{Flash back}

Maria was holding my hand,she smiled at me and I smiled back.
We were with Maria's grandfather, Gerald Robotnik.
We were in a shopping market and heard someone scream.
It have shivers down my spine and I hugged Maria, afraid.
"Its okay, Shadow...D-Don't be afriad...",she said softly, kneeling and wiped my tears.
I heard a shot, Maria's grandfather got shot.
Maria hugged me tight, tears filled her eyes but I know she tried not to scream.
"M-Maria?",I choked.
Maria stood up and held me in her arms, running away to the exit.
She set me down when we made it to the exit.
"Shadow...!",she said and hugged me tight,"Promise me....-"

I was confused.
"-Promise me...that...you will find a new friend...no new friends...and...don't be afraid!You....-You're the one that I treasure the most...please...",she whispered,"Also...have a happy life...I love you..."
I heard a gunshot, suddenly Maria collapsed in front of me,
"Maria?",tears started to fill my eyes.
She didn't answer.
"MARIA!ANSWER ME!MARIA!NO!",I yelled.
"I-I'll call the ambulance!S-So don't die on me!!",I smiled at her but I started to break down.
"MARIA!!!"

{Present}

"Well, see you tomorrow!",I snapped back and saw Silver wave goodbye at me, I waved back.
I looked around and saw that I was the only one on the bus.
I sighed.

I promise Maria....
