Lgbt+ (EXTREMELY SENSITIVE TOPIC. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK)

So this isn't a homophobe or transphobe opinion, as I am pan and genderfluid (updated 10.15.16-- wow look at me, I said I was genderfluid. ahh my little confused self. but I am actually transgender ftm:)  ) myself. This is just some thoughts on the criticism toward lgbt.

So first thing- ITS NOT A CHOICE.
You didn't wake up one morning and decide 'I'm going to like the opposite gender' and we didn't wake up one morning and decide 'I'm going to like the same gender'

Honey, preferences don't work like that.

Just like you KNOW you are either make or female, which is what you were assigned at birth, and we KNOW that we ARENT what we were assigned at birth.

Gender is, BY DEFINITON, a mental thing, not physical thing.

Gender is what you like and what your interests are. Whether you're interested in dresses and makeup or you're interested in race cars and ties. (not saying liking those things means you're a certain gender. it's just examples okay don't murder me)

And also, this whole 'same gender couples' and 'transgender' things weren't just something that came up in the last 60 years, it's dated back farther than that- There's a lesbian couple in the Bible. Also, there are many reports of same gender couples back 100, 200 years ago. It's not just a 21st century thing. It's just the fact that people that are like this that lived back then couldn't say that they like the same gender because it was NOT tolerated back then. The time we live in now is the best time for this kind of thing because it's new and people are starting to be more understanding and accepting and it's starting to be a norm. (I do know that there are also shootings and things like that targeted to the lgbt. And I do not support those shooters, and it was incredibly wrong what they did. Just wanted to let you know I am aware of those things)

Also, what good is it doing to you if you cause someone who is lgbt to end their life because you made them feel like a freak for just being themselves? You didn't get anything from it. You got no reward, no pat on the back. All that you got was the ability to say 'I killed someone'

SEXUAL PREFERENCES DO NOT MAKE UP A PERSON'S PERSONALITY. I know many many lgbt people who are the sweetest and kindest people I've ever met. People who are in the lgbt won't judge you because they know that being different is okay. It's great.

So just accept people for who they are and this world will become a better place for everyone.
