Chapter one

Maki sat at the piano in the music room "Oh Maki-chan~!" Nico's cheerful voice called as she walked behind Maki "what is it Nico?" Maki asked letting out an exasperated sigh "you won't believe what I saw Nozomi and Eli doing in the student council office!" "Nozomi and Eli-Senpai's? Aren't they just working on papers for the student council like they normally do?" She looked at Nico "so that's what they call it" Nico snickered "what are you talking about?" Maki asked. Nico grabbed her hand "come with me and I'll show you!" She lead Maki to the student council office. They both looked through the large windows on the doors, careful to not be seen. "I'm done arguing about this with you" Eli said she was siting down in one of the chairs, thousands of papers stacked on top of the table in front of her. Nozomi stood by the window facing Eli "well why don't we just let the cards decide for us~?" She smirked and took the tarot cards out of her pocket she did the tarot reading and looked at the card she pulled happily and showed it to Eli "Now it's decided! We have to tell them!!" She exclaimed triumphantly "I suppose so..." Eli responded and looked down after looking at the card. Her face changed into an expression none of the other muse members had seen except for Nozomi, it was an expression of sorrow and worry. "Oh, cheer up!" Nozomi said trying to encourage her "it'll turn out fine! The cards have never predicted something that hasn't" Eli looked up at Nozomi and let out a deep breath and nodded "okay.." She was still unsure but Nozomi gave her more confidence than she had before. "Well, let's tell the others" she stood up from her chair and walked to the door with Nozomi following behind. Nico ducked under the door windows and quickly darted away from it, she looked at Maki to see if she moved, but she was peering into the room. "Maki!!" Nico shouted in a loud whisper. Maki looked at her and quickly moved right as Eli opened the door "Nico?" The taller girl asked Nico jumped and let out a gasp "E-Eli, it's fancy seeing you here" she said trying to not sound suspicious. Eli looked from Nico to Maki "how much did you see?" She asked "Nico dragged me here saying there was something she wanted to show me, but the only thing I saw was you and Nozomi-senpai talking." "MAKI!" Nico shouted and looked angrily at Maki "what? I only told her the truth" she shrugged "oh Nicocchi~!" Nozomi giggled and walked towards Nico. Nico quickly started running down the hall, knowing Nozomi's intentions. Nozomi kept a quick pace behind her. Eli turned to Maki "Can you go get the others and bring them here..? I need to tell you all something..." "Of course" Maki nodded and left to find the other Muse members. Eli walked back into the office and shut the doors behind her. She sat back at the table and laid her head down. She hit her hands against her cheeks "it'll be okay" she told herself, but she was more nervous than she had ever been before.
