It was movie night and (y/n) decided that she was going to spend the night with me. We've been together for 9 months now. These past months have been the best ones of my life. Her and I do almost everything together. She makes me the happiest person alive. Everytime we talk I can't help but smile.
"(Y/nm) what movie do you want to watch tonight?" I ask. "Um... I don't know. You choose." she tells me. "No princess I'm not choosing this time. I chose last time. You promised you would choose this time remember?" I state. "Oh right. Well how about Beyond the Lights?" she asks. She doesn't know this but I love this movie. "Okay that's cool. You made a good choice." I say with a huge smile. "Wait, you like that movie?" she practically yelled out of excitement. "More like love." I respond while putting the movie into the DVD player. This movie is so amazing. The message is so powerful. I'm glad (y/n) chose this movie.
Your P.O.V
I'm surprised this boy even knew about this movie. Then again it is on Netflix. I wonder why he actually has a DVD for it. Does he love it that much?
Anyways, as soon as the movie started Yugyeom grabbed all the snacks and drinks that we would be eating for the movie. "Thanks babe." I say while he hands me a blanket to put over the both of us.
I love having times like this with him. He's always so busy and I never get to see him as much as I want to but that helps me cherish every thing I do with him. I know that what he does helps bring food to the table but I can't help but sometimes wish he didn't have to career that he does. We could have a normal relationship and I wouldn't have to worry about other pretty girls trying to take him away from me as often.
*55 minutes into the movie*
I sit here staring at how beautiful Noni is or just Gugu Mbatha-Raw is in general. Her acting skills are amazing, her smile is beautiful, her voice when speaking is amazing, and her body is to die for. No wonder if guys ever watched this they tended to fall for her right away. I wonder if that's why Yugyeom likes this movie so much. "I wish I was built like Noni. She so pretty. Why can't I be like that?" I thought out loud. I hope Yugyeom didn't here me. It was a slight whisper, he couldn't have. Oh well, I'll draw my attention back to the movie.
Yugyeom's P.O.V
I was trying to pay as much attention to the movie as possible when I thought I heard (y/n) say something. So I leaned in closer without her noticing and it sounded like she was mildly scolding herself. I paused the movie, turned on the light, sat on the coffee table and looked her dead in the eyes. She was jealous of the main character but why?
"Are you okay?" I ask completely concerned. "I'm fine can we just finish the movie?" she says trying to change the subject. "No, you don't seem happy right now. We are gonna settle this," I state "I know you were mumbling something so what's up?" I confronted her. "Nothing." she says sternly. "Listen, I was hoping you would just come out and say it but I already know what you said."
"You need to stop thinking so badly about yourself. You are beautiful the way you are. In my eyes you are perfect. I don't want you comparing yourself to other people anymore. If I don't say this enough to you I'm sorry. You are so precious to me and you feeling down about yourself doesn't make me feel like I'm being a good boyfriend to you. I want you to feel good. I hope that one day you will be able to view yourself the way I do. I don't want you to change a thing. Your hair is perfect, your smile is amazing, you body is beautiful and you have an amazing personality."
"But, Yugyeom she's so gorgeous and she's got it all. You should be with someone like her. Why are you even with me when you could be dating a skinny perfect idol or celebrity?" she questions me out of doubt.
"Stop that. If I didn't think you were beautiful would I be here with you? Probably not. I don't want one of those "perfect idols or celebrities" I want my perfect princess. You are perfect to me flaws and all. Please be more positive about yourself and take care of yourself. Your happiness is very important to me." I say with a huge smile.

While looking into her eyes I see tears forming. "Yugyeom I love you so much. Thank you. Seriously I mean it." she says to me while pulling me into a hug. We sat hugging for about two minutes. "I love you okay. I know I've said this so many times in just a few minutes but I mean it you're beautiful. Please don't change. Please be confident." I say into her shoulder. "Okay Brownie I will. I promise." she replies into mine.
We pull away from each other and I press play for the movie again. I get back onto the couch and kiss (y/n) on the forehead. I cuddle up closer to her and cover us up with the blanket again. "My beautiful girlfriend. My life." I say before giving her forehead another kiss. We remain close together until the movie is over.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 This was so damn emotional for me. I CAN'T! YUGYEOM IS MY SECOND BIAS AND THIS HIT ME FUCKING HARD! I ALMOST CRIED!
