Isabella fell asleep as she held the paper close. Her staff's gem glowed as a shadow past the window of her room. The gem started to glow dim with orange with a bit of a light green outline. Isabella stared at her staff but just ignored it and drifted off. Unfortunately, the emotions of curiousity took over and she went to grab her staff that layed at the bed side. She examimed the staff but soon the glow grew dim, and soon, it stopped glowing. Isabella looked it over but then placed it down to sleep, but the shadow flew over the window again, causing the staff's gem to glow once again. Isabella suspected more but then fell right back to sleep. (I mean seeiously, she is still up at 1:36.) Isabella then woke up to a bright green light that shone from her staff's gem.
'The omninnite.' She thought as the glow kept going endlessly.

She took her staff and the informative paper and snuck out to find a huge mess at the kitchen. Silverware is all over the place, broken ones, scatched ones, and one is even shattered. She searched the other rooms but it seems the only mess came from the kitchen. As she past by her brothers' room, the omninnite started glowing like crazy. She peered through the doorway to find a plant dragon sleeping on her brother's bed. She slowly walked over and watch the peaceful dragon sleep. Then she got up but couldn't bring herself to kick out the creature. She left it and began cleaning up the kitchen. She soon realised she left her staff in the room so she went to go grab it. As she poked her head through the doorway, she saw the plant dragon awake and staring at the staff. As she looked, a faint image of a leaf symbol showed up inside the gem and vanished.
'Huh. Weird.' Isabella thought as she walked into the room and grabbed her wand. The plant dragon took one look at her and flew out the opened window. Isabella walked up to the windowsill and saw the plant dragon sleep in a small nest in the forest next to her cottage. She then thought for a brief moment and left the room. She searched in the soil and found some uneaten Dragon Snaps still in the flower bed and took them in. She placed them into small pots and watered them. She watched as within seconds, the Dragon Snaps grew again. She harvested them and took the seeds outta them and planted them once again. Within the next 30 minutes all Isabella gained was just 32 Dragon Snaps.
'Better than nothing I guess.' Isabella thought as she thought as she took a bowl and filled it with water. She took the bowl along with the Dragon Snaps and placed them on the table inside the room. She left the window opened and lit a dim candle before she went to bed. The thing is that, you may think she was dumb enough to leave a burning candle out but no, she left it in the middle of a wide dish filled water. She then left and went to bed. When she fell asleep, the plant dragon awoke and saw a faint glow coming from the windowsill. As curious as the dragon was, it flew towards the light. There in the dim light, shone a bowl of water along with Dragon Snaps. The plant dragon cautiously sniffed the Dragon Snaps only to them gobble them up as if they were nothing. The dragon then drank all the water and walked around the house. It looked around the kitchen, the bathroom, and the other rooms. It suddenly stopped as it past by Isabella's room. It peered into the doorway to find Isabella wrapped in a tattered blanket. It flew up to her bedside and looked at her. It saw looked at her with questioning eyes but then jumped back as it saw her move. They flew back into the room where it had entered and left.
The next morning, Isabella awoke to see nothing in the house in pieces. She looked around the rooms and found nothing has been tampered with. She finally peered into her brothers' room and found the Dragon Snaps gone and the bowl empty. She smiled and took the bowl and the candle stick. She then planted the remaining Dragon Snap seeds. She then placed on her wizard coat and grabbed her wand and small bag. She quickly ran out the door, slamming it in the process. As she ran down the steps leading from island to island, soon she was only 2 islands away when she realised she forgot to close the window.
'Oh man.... now the dragon's gonna eat the rest of the Dragon Snaps.' Isabella thought as she face palmed herself. She put that as her worries later as she reached the school building. As class was going on, her mind started thinking what might happen.
'Theives may come in and take what's left of my family's money.'
'Dragons will take over my house and I'll have no where to live.'
'The weather could change at any second and probably flood my house, thanks to the neighboring island's weather gadget.'
Isabella snapped outta her thoughts as she realised Mr. Tarson was calling on her.

"Miss Isabella, may I ask you what the answer to the question is again?" Mr. Tarson asked as Isabella quickly flipped open the book and read the question in her mind.

'What is the name of this dragon treat?'
Isabella brighten up and smiled as she saw the picture of the treat.
"The name of this treat is-"
" *insert dragon screech here* "
"What the huh?!" Isabella said loudly turning towards the sound. The whole class came bursting outside to see a group of theives passing by.
"Halt in the name of Karios!" a guard shouted as the theives ran. The guard waved his hand and a dragon flew down.
"Follow them!" The guard shouted as he saddled onto the dragon quick and easily.

"Woah. What just happened?" a student asked.

"I don't know but we must resume class." Mr. Tarson said.

"Aww." the class groaned and whined as they filed inside the building. Isabella stared outside and and thought what type of dragon she saw. It had beautiful sky blue feathers on it's wings, brave and gentle eyes, it soared in the sky like it was nothing. It has no legs lile other dragons but,  despite that, it's wings were powerful and strong. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts as the bell rang. She looked at the chalk board and saw that the homework was about how dragon treats help the dragon grow, only then her smile showed. As she walked out, she saw Amanda, Chloe, and Adrian walking up to her.

"Hey look. It's the useless girl who needs someone to protect her." Amanda laughed. Chloe laughed along but stopped as she saw Isabella go around them and down the stairs.

"Look she's running." Adrian said as he ran after her. Amanda and Chloe followed after. Fortunately, Isabella had much practice with the stairs that she left them far behind but, not far enough because she could still hear them shouting after her.
"COWARD!"
"WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER TO SHOW YOUR FACE HERE?!"
"YEAH THAT'S RIGHT. GET OUTTA HERE!"
Isabella then felt tears flowing out of her eyes as she ran a couple of more stairs until she reached her cottage. It was nightfall and Isabella just wanted to pass out.
'Everything seems to be in place...' Isabella thought as she scanned the house. She looked into her brothers' room and saw the window closed.
'I thought I left it opened....' Isabella thought as she went to open it.
" *insert baby dragon screech here* "
Isabella turned her head to find the plant dragon curled up in her brother's bedsheet.
"It's okay... I'm not gonna hurt you lil' buddy." Isabella whispered softly.
The dragon still didn't trust her so it kept a careful eye on Isabella.
'Maybe it will stop being so tense if I opened the window.' Isabella thought as she went to open the window. Once she opened the window, the dragon flew past her and out into the forest nearby.
'It still doesn't trust me..' Isabella thought as she closed the window for the night.
