When I returned, Neji walked up to me.
"Sasuke," he said. I looked at him. He bit his lower lip and closed his eyes. "I'd like you to be the new Alpha." I raised an eyebrow, confused at how sudden it was.
"Why? Aren't you good enough?" I replied. He shook his head and grimaced.
"I've let your brother down. I'm no good as the Alpha, I couldn't protect him. I should've been there with him... Sasuke, you deserve better."
I furrowed my brows. "What are you saying, Neji?"
"I'm saying I'm not qualified enough to be the Alpha. You shall be the Alpha and we will all assist you in avenging your brother. I'll do the best I can." Neji pat me on the shoulder and walked away. Naruto came to my side and nudged me with his head.
"The Alpha huh, Teme? I guess I have no choice but to listen to you from on onwards." He grinned idiotically, his sharp teeth discernible. I knew he was just trying to lighten up the atmosphere. I smirked.
"Yeah, better listen to every order I give you."
He rolled his eyes as he knew I was playing around with him. "Yeah, yeah."
I sighed. "I don't want to be the Alpha."
He casted me a questioning look. "Why?"
I shrugged, not knowing why either. I looked up and gazed at the starry sky. "I hope tomorrow comes soon..."
"What did you say?" Naruto asked.
"Nothing."

I wonder if I'll see Sasuke tomorrow...
I stared at the stars above admiringly. I began tracing out the stars out of boredom, and realised the shape I'd seen was a wolf's face.
Wolf, huh... I dropped my hand and leaned back to sleep.

I went to the same area as yesterday."Sakura." A voice from behind said. I immediately recognised the voice and twirled around to face Sasuke.
"Sasuke! We'd met again!" I said happily. He nodded and smiled meekly.
"Yeah. Seems like it." He glanced at the surroundings and said,"Want to have a walk around?"
I blinked in confusion. "There's nothing to see in the woods."
He smiled. "You have no idea. Follow me." He took my hand and guided me somewhere I don't know. Then, we halted in front of a beautiful lake. My eyes gleamed when I saw the scenery there.
"I have no idea there was a lake here!" I turned and looked at him in amazement. He nodded and said, "whenever I'm stressed, I come here all the time."
"Does this lake have a name?"
He shook his head. "That is unknown. But... my brother..." He cleared his throat.
"So, what do you usually do here to relief your stress?" I asked instead, understanding that it might be a sensitive topic to talk about his brother.
He frowned as if he remembered something sad. I panicked and stuttered, "I'm sorry if I ask anything strange!" He shook his head.
"It's nothing. When I'm here, I would usually just stare into the water. But when my brother is with me, we will usually have a little conversation."
"Oh, you have a brother? Must be nice."
"He died." He looked away. I gasped and covered my mouth.
"I-I'm so sorry for your loss. I-I shouldn't have brought it up."
"It's okay. You were just curious."
"May I ask how it happened?"
"The humans."
I tipped my head. "Humans? What do you mean?"
"He was murdered. Shot by a gun, I'd heard."
I widened my eyes. "How cruel! How can they shot another of their kind?"
He then said something that was very vague, and I could only hear, "that's not... We're..."
"What did you say?"
"Nothing important." He turned around and said, "When are you going back?"
"Nine."
He looked at the sky. "It's eight now."
"Wow, you can tell the time just by looking at the sky? Amazing!" I clapped. He blushed slightly and muttered, "It's nothing to be amazed about... it's just one of my abilities..."
"Oh, you have other abilities then?" I blinked. He laughed awkwardly and said, "Not really."
"Aww! Tell me, I'm curious!"
He continued his nervous laughter.
"Alright, alright. I'll tell you another. I can read your mind," he said. I wowed and replied, "then what am I thinking now?"
I thought of the wolf I'd seen days ago. Sasuke touched my forehead and said, "A wolf."
"You're right! Cool! You're so cool!" I complimented. He didn't seem to be proud of it, and he was frowning.

It looks like she remembered me in my wolf form. Is that suppose to be good or bad? If I tell her about me being a werewolf, can she be trusted? Can she, a human, be trusted? I laughed when I'm with her, which I didn't with my friends. She's special, she's different. But still, can I trust her?
"Sasuke? Hey, Sasuke? Hello?" I was snapped back to reality when I realised Sakura had been calling my name.
"W-What is it?" I wasn't sure why but my face felt like it was on fire. The first thing I saw the moment I returned to reality was her face right in front of me, millimetres away. She stepped back and cocked her head.
"What were you thinking about? You were in your own world. Are you okay?" She asked. I smiled and said,"I'm okay." She shot me a questioning look and shrugged.
"Anyways, I got to go. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" She said. I nodded and said, "Should I escort you back?"
"You know where I live?" She raised an eyebrow. I flinched and laughed nervously.
"Well, there's only one village that's near here so, yeah?" I replied.
"Oh. That does make sense!"
Thank God she's so innocent and gullible, in a good way.
